Poor guy. Looks like he lived for a little while after the accident. I wonder what he was wearing or what other personal belongings he had with him (e.g. keys).

I think this is him, it's from an article about 2 separate fatal auto-pedestrian crashes from Sep 26 2021.

In west Houston, a man was crossing Westheimer Road at Voss when he was struck by an SUV.

It happened around 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

The victim was taken to Ben Taub Hospital where he later died, according to Houston police. Investigators said the driver involved stopped and called 911 after the crash occurred. They do not believe impairment was a factor in the crash

The detail about where he was crossing is helpful given the fact that Westheimer Road is about 19 miles long

That's doesn't appear to be a PM photo; he's wearing hospital garb and a breathing tube as well as some kind of IV in his right hand. So if he was sent to hospital why can't they report his eye colour? His dental health appears very bad so it's possible there was no evidence of prior dental work so that would have been a dead end.

I wasn't sure if the file had been updated. It's happened before where an unidentified individual was thought to be deceased when they were actually still alive. Although some do die.
