Ok, you should get a standard reply from NamUs within the next 24-48 hours letting you know they received your submission and will forward to LE. It may take a little longer through them.

I would also notify the case owner and the Houston PD. I do hope you plan to stay here at WS and join in some other cases.

The ears are also very similar, which is another big tell.
If the ears are similar, that doesn't mean they have to be the same person. Using facial recognition software such as Pimeyes and Facecheck.ID. I was able to find the match through those websites. I also found another match which looks like the person in the photos but don't have the same birthmarks. They have the same features though except in one, the nasal bridge is slightly slimmer and that was taken in 2013 so it was ruled out.

Yeah, that sold it for me, on top of the other points of comparison. There was another proposed match a while back, where facially, it wasn't bad, but the ears were very different. Ears are very individual, but because they're soft tissue, like fingerprints, there's a ticking clock on how long they're of use as comparable to photos for identification. Fortunately, in this case, our Doe was found quickly.

MOO

Yup! Of course this guy right here is 100% our dude and I am very sold on it! Ears? Same. Nose? Same! Birthmarks/moles?! Same!!!
I do again wonder if there is any way to tell the height of Alejandro, the guy in the mugshot. 5’1” is very short for a late teen, and Alejandro was 17, so it would be a distinctive feature at his age. But yeah, that’s him. If that’s not him I will probably question reality!

I agree with the others. That looks like a really solid match. But... do we know this person is/was even missing ? Also, any further information on what the "municipal hold" was for? As a juvenile that may not be something that can be determined.
I was trying to research that too. I see it says: Charge: MUNICIPAL HOLD - GPD. I wasn't sure what GPD stood for, but I do see this used multiple times for many people arrested. I also noticed 2 other people were arrested at the same time and location: 900 Ave J.

Info I'm looking at is at the link below

I would guess GPD is Galveston Police Department. Elsewhere I found that a municipal hold could mean any number of things, such as someone with a warrant from another jurisdiction, or held for their own safety, etc.
