TX TX - Houston, *GRAPHIC*, suicide, Wht/Hsp Male, 13-19, UP87935, found dead in bus, Jan'22

I mean they all had numbers like 925 or 960 etc but not 900
Yes, this is why I think it was just the 900 Block and they were either in a vehicle or walking outside. MOO

I don't remember where but is was said that it is possible that he was a bus boy in Austin.
That's a bit far though.
Also he was found dead in an abandoned bus in Houston. It is possible that he went inside the bus to seek shelter as there were a lot of rain and thunderstorms the day before he was found. The death is ruled as a suicide.
I think he hung himself.

I think it would be hard to hang yourself inside a bus though.
Pretty sure the COD was posted earlier in the thread when the Case status was public (you can search cases up to a year old in the Houston ME case search), and it confirmed he had hanged himself. I agree it would be hard, but some buses have bars attached to the roof that can be held onto.

I'm going to guess that he just put a rope around a handle on a door, or over a seat and sat towards the ground. I have heard of people doing it without actually suspending themselves.

Or like @Hochman said above. I've also seen luggage racks suspended from the ceiling on busses before.

Not hard at all. You don't need a balustrade or a ceiling beam, you can hang yourself from a household doorknob. The interiors of buses have plenty of handles and rails within reach for anchor points for a ligature.

It does not seem there would be enough room inside a schoolbus to do it. But he was 5'1" so that may explain how it was possible. Apparently he was alive when found. Which shows that his attempt was not entirely successful.

You can hang yourself sitting, kneeling, or even lying down. You don't have to suspend your body in space.

Do we even know if the arrested individual is missing? If he is not missing, will NAMUS even let anyone know?

right; there was a Japanese musician who accidentally hung himself to death from a doorknob while drunk, gravity and a ligature are the important parts.

(I also haven't been inside a school bus for a few decades, and I did briefly ride one in my youth that had a bar along the top where a luggage rack would be in a commercial bus, so I don't have a good frame of reference for the vehicle where our UID was found)

I wasn't able to find anything about the person who was arrested besides that mugshot. I don't think he was reported missing but I can't find a page of missing people from Houston or Galveston so I can't be sure.

I couldn’t find him in MP databases. I wonder if he was in fact a native of Galveston or just got arrested there? I looked up his name and found nothing because it’s a very common last name (actually both of his last names are extremely common) and first name among Hispanic males, so there are tons of AGMs out there.

There is a database for Texas, but I couldn’t find him on there. here’s the link for the future.
Hopefully we will learn more if it comes back as a match.

Do you think the black t-shirt in the postmortem photos is a photoshop?

The way I read it he was alive when found then died.
That's the way I read it also.

A better source for the arrest/photo and Misdemeanor hold on 12/13/21.

I hope LE takes this suggestion seriously, it seems very very possible! I can't personally access the mugshot links (maybe bc im in Canada?), does he have a height/weight/tats listed?
Maybe I'm just negative but I don't have a lot of trust that the NamUs correspondents are actually fully looking into every tip that comes in and actually passing them along, so I like to send tips to both them and the Investigating Agency with the hope that at least one person will listen. @Caring1 @souljaman2022 , was this boy ever submitted to Houston PD?
