If you don’t have flyer already, create one with height/weight/physical description and circumstances she went missing under. List her as endangered if she is supposed to be on medication so it lights a fire under folks rear ends! Again I’m very happy to post her flyer all over the Atascocita/Humble area. I also live in pearland with my boyfriend part time and can post around Pearland for you as well [emoji177]

Thanks. HPD was dumbstruck that she was not listed as missing. I am having the PI wrap up his investigation in a report on Wednesday. I am submitting it to the investigator on this case to get her listed as a missing person. I want to follow their lead as much as possible. I have two cousins-in- law retired from law enforcement at pretty high positions advising me. One said they will use the face recognition AP on the skull to narrow down the potential victims in the case.

I live in Houston metropolis area. I tried to report my daughter as a missing person with Harris County Sheriff Department in April. They tagged her license but wouldn't list her as missing. I have spoken with the lead detective on this case. I volunteered my DNA and submitted pictures. I also have a private investigator looking for her. She has been well hidden for years from family and in March my instincts said something is really wrong. How do I post her picture here?

Welcome to Websleuths Jillsmom. :welcome:

I'm so sorry your daughter is missing. There are many here who can help you. My main piece of advice is to get your daughter listed in NAMUS: https://namus.gov/

If you submit your DNA through NAMUS it will automatically compare to all the unidentified persons with DNA in the database. My next piece of advice is that you will have to be a constant advocate for her. Start a missing facebook page for her, get flyers made and contact as many mainstream news outlets as you can with the story. Share to social media with public posts and ask your friends and family to share as well. You need to get her name and face out there. And you may need to follow up with police on a regular basis once they get her listed as a missing person. Don't expect that they will contact you. Call once a week or once a month and ask for status updates. Be polite but persistent.

Thanks. That sounds like some solid advice.

I had really good news from the private investigator. He found my daughter alive and well. She is married and her husband sent a picture from Sunday when they were at a museum. I let the homicide detective know so he doesn't waste time on a false lead. She is supposed to come to my mother's this weekend. I am so relieved. Thank you for your generous offer.

Thank you. I was so afraid this was her. You have to accept when someone walks away from their family. Her father died in 2012. She never had a chance to say goodbye. My mom is 93. Maybe she will change her mind. I don't always like every member of my family but I love them. Just so glad she is alive.

Also, welcome to Websleuths. There's many people here who know a lot more than I do who I'm sure will help you get your daughters info and photo out there!

@carbuff is always helpful :)

Why do I always think of drug mules when I hear decapitated? :thinking:
The detective ask me if I thought my daughter was involved in drugs. Pretty sure that is their guess also.

I had to look up winged teeth because I had never heard of them before and apparently they are common in Native American people...interesting.
