Being a formrr lurker of this case, I forgot this, but did pollen samples show Smurfette's possible past locations, if there were any pollen samples done off of her clothes?

The actual quote is:
"She MAY have lived a good part of her life in central to north central Texas based on analysis of isotopes in her bones and teeth. It is definitely NOT set in stone that she is from Texas."

Thank you for pulling that. I knew I had it in an email somewhere!!
Posting flyers in the area of north texas may or may not help, because she could have lived there years ago moved away and somehow ended up in houston. I am in Kentucky this week, and I don't know if its just because I have smurfette on my mind, but went to the mall and there are TONS of beautiful biracial girls in this area, I am pretty close to Ohio state line, I am trying to do a little bit of research on missing biracial girls from the northern Kentucky area.

Yeah, I was in New Orleans over Christmas and kept thinking the same thing. I noticed a couple of posters out for missing girls from the area, but I think they're already on the ruleouts list.

I found Stephanie Ferrer on the New York Missing Persons clearinghouse. I thought we had mentioned her, but I can't find her.

http://missing.criminaljustice.ny.gov/missing-child/stephanie-ferrer

Stephanie ran away from NYC in 2011. The photo on the left, which is what NCMEC uses, is from 2008. The more recent photo looks like it's off somebody's cellphone, not very clear. But in both photos, she has a similar long thin nose. Can't tell about the overbite, but maybe. And biracial.

I can't find her listed on most of the missing sites, though, so perhaps she's been recovered?

I came acros this girl while searching for PMs for Smurfette. Definitely too tall and her forehead is bigger than Smurfette's, so automatic rule out, but she has Smurfette's nose. Could Smurfette possibly also be of an Native American descent? I am afraid of ruling out girls by being Hispanic after Emely, but I don't know about if Native American ethnicity can also be a rule out. JMO

Bump. When I was in high school there were quite a few foreign exchange students in my classes from all over the world. Smurfette fits the age of an average high school aged foreign exchange student, so that is another possibility if she went missing while in the United States and her guardian or whoever never reported her missing. Tyler Clare-Lamont

http://www.missingkids.com/poster/NCMC/1198394/1#poster

Yet another PM from Oklahoma for Smurfette. Tyler kind of has Smurfette's nose like that other Native American female I posted earlier. She is also really short and skinny like Smurfette is thought to be. Tyler's hair does look straight and not wavyish like Smurfette's, but we don't know if her hair is straightened. Some Native Americans have fairly coarse hair. I am part Native American by like a small amount and my hair is very coarse and kind of wavy. JMO

Tyler was ruled out she may or may not be on that giant list, but I know for a fact that she was ruled out because I submitted her. Such a beautiful girl.

Yes, your post #181 notifying of Dr. Derrick ruling out Tyler Clare-Lamont, Shauna Owens, Jerica Magee and Ashley Vaughan.

Is it safe to exclude potential matches if DNA samples are noted as being submitted/available on NamUs?

I am under the impression that there are various types that don't always match up to the various types and now which type is available is not publicly shared. I'm concerned we may be overlooking some matches when it says DNA on file.
