My first reaction was wow!!! I looked for her, she appears to be alive as she has a facebook with posts well into 2013. But even looking at her recent photos, IMO I think her teeth are what we should be looking for.

Finally heard back from Dr. D, none of the PMs matched up. She also asked why all of the potential matches I sent over are Hispanic. Lol. Once again she has stated she would be very surprised if smurfette is Hispanic. She mentioned she was recently interviewed regarding smurfettes case, she says she doesn't know when the story will be out, but keep a look out for it! In the meantime keep looking for PMs!!

What about this girl, I've checked to see if she has been listed here before, but i'm not seeing it.

There are a few pictures of her out there, she seems to have been active on the net, as i've found 2 youtube accounts of hers. I can't seem to find a facebook. But anyway, I can't see any mention of her being located at all.

I am still confused as to why she is still listed on namus, it's odd they said she was entered months ago mistakenly and yet they still haven't removed her profile. I still like her as a PM.

Also, Meleny was ruled out by her teeth/smile. Stephanie and Joeline were ruled out by the nose, Dr. D said both girls noses were too wide.

I have looked at this girl a lot lately. My head says its impossible, but something keeps drawing me back to her.

Her missing date is 30th Oct 2012, so if that is correct she can't be Smurfette, but it does happen sometimes that people remain unidentified because the missing person is listed under the wrong date. I can't help wondering whether there is a chance that the 30th was the date she was reported missing, rather than the date she was last seen.

I don't think anything is impossible, mistakes happen, you name it. There is a reason this girl hasn't been recognized yet. Why that is, none of us know. There are a few ppl that I have in mind too that I really have hesitated to post here only because i'm not sure if it's way out of the norm. But I say, if you have a feeling post it She looks like a good match to me! Maybe the date is off?

If only she had dentals! I don't think Dr. D would have a problem looking at a PM if the date was off as long as they had something on file to compare. I will share this with her, the picture is pretty blurry but she may be able to rule her out by photo?

As far as I know she has not been buried yet, Dr. D mentioned an interview regarding smurfette (hopefully we will see it on the news soon) but I am thinking this is the one last push for family before they bury her.

Now she is interesting! It would make sense for Smurfette to be local, given those tests which suggested she had lived in the local area.

That said, has there been any word on Alanda Lacy, Lyssav?

I think I see highlighting on the bottom right of her curls... OTOH, tattoos may rule her out.
