COD is still pending as of today. IMO The fact that it has been this long without a cause of death leads me to believe they are pending toxicology but again JMO

Here’s a local case for me that I haven’t seen a thread for. I looked at the picture of the man and I think I saw him once before July 2022 but can’t recall anything else since I just walked past him in a store. It was in the early months of 2022. I remember seeing a guy who looked just like him. Kind of chunky, roughly the same height as me (5’2” as well), salt and pepper hair.
The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs) POSTMORTEM WARNING not gory

On July 17, 2022, an unknown man was found dead near a fence in Houston. The fence housed a grassy area near a business.

The deceased is described as a Hispanic male, who was under the age of 70 at the time of his death. I think he looks in his late forties, but most likely in his fifties or early sixties. I’d say 45-65.

He had salt and pepper hair that had some decent length to it at the top and brown eyes. He sported a goatee and a small mustache, the same color as his haair.

He was 5’2” (157 cm) and 158 pounds (72 kg). This is really short for a male. 8 inches shorter than average! In fact, it’s shorter than average for a female. 3 inches shorter than the average woman. I’m the same height as him, and I’m a woman. I’m kind of short, enough where people do comment on my height or stare. A man of that height is pretty hard to miss. You don’t see men that small every day. Latinos do tend to be shorter, so there’s also that. Most Hispanic men I know are under 5’7”, and most Hispanic women I know are under 5’2”.

The deceased was wearing a blue T shirt with a graphic from the movie “Office Space”, black jeans with blue paint stains from the brand Six Lincoln, size 34/30 (34 inch waist, 30 inch inseam), a black cloth belt, black boxer underwear, and white socks.
30 inch inseam is really long for 5’2”. I’m 5’2” as well and I have a 31 inch inseam. It’s super hard for me to not look like I have weird proportions. I’m pretty much all legs. I have to get my pants in a size 4-6, which lucky for me isn’t terribly hard to find, but they’re always short on me and my long legs. I have to get a size (waist/inseam) of 27/32, which can be hard to find for me.

So yes. The long legs are pretty distinctive too.
The deceased had a scar below his navel. It was a vertical linear scar. I think it may have been from a surgical intervention.
He was wearing a blue and green beaded bracelet on his left wrist.

This man needs his name back! Someone is missing him! I’m sure he’s a husband, he’s a father, and maybe, just maybe, there are some little kids crying and missing Grandpa since he hasn’t come back in almost a year. Someone loves him and misses him!
RIP Houston John Doe (July 2022). Hope we can say your true name soon. Rest well. Don’t worry sir, you WILL be identified.
