What? Can you elaborate? An employee of sorts?I will say that the victim probably had ties to that grocery store/mall and was known to the owner(s). After re-reading the ME's report, I noticed something very interesting.
I'm honestly not sure, but it does appear he had ties to that mall. What? Can you elaborate? An employee of sorts?
I think so too. Never heard the name Ereanado before. Maybe it was something like Fernando?Pretty sure "Ereanado" was a misspelling/misinterpretation by police...Or misunderstood by neighbors etc.
It's 1977 and it's Harris County and the PD were probably not very versed in Spanish.
Additionally, it's an UID, which also weren't taken too seriously back then. There was probably not a serious effort to find out if "Ereanado" was even a real name. Just some notes in a police report.
As for the church property and it being a Hispanic church in 1977:
Property was deeded to this church in 1990. In 1988, it was deeded to an individual with an Anglo first and last name. (Records do not say who it is was deeded from, but the individual's father passed away the same month, so maybe they inherited a building and then sold it two years later)
Also the building could have had a previous use prior to 1990 and may have not been a church at that time. I see many Hispanic churches which were originally commercial buildings.
