Does anyone know anything about Corrine Anita Hagler? She's on Sheriff Perkins' rule-out list, but I cannot find anything on whether she has ever been found.

Just last week, I figured out who Cecile Frances Moch is, and learned that she is still missing despite that she wasn't listed on any public listings (until I asked Meaghan at Charley Project to create a page for her).

http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/m/moch_cecile.html

I also created a Namus MP casefile for her, though it is still unpublished.

I have Cecile submitted as a possible for a Jane Doe in California.

I couldn't find anything on Corrine Anita Hagler, either. But IIRC there was a missing person on Sheriff Perkins' rule-out list who was found deceased. It may have ben Corrine.

Cecile does resemble Ruthie.

Cecile does resemble Ruthie.

She really does, and other things match up too. I can see why she would be suggested. (Even though she was already ruled out before her Charley Project listing, but now that it's on there I imagine people will suggest her).

Andrea Laderoute was found deceased.

Hello All,

Just started reading this thread these past few days.
It's such a tragic case, and I really hope that this poor girl is identified soon.

I am not sure if these girls have already been suggested but I came across them, and thought that they might be a match.
What do you think?

Tammy Sue Clements went missing when she was 14 on Jan 1st 1980. She is a little heavier than "Ruthie", but it's possible that she lost weight while travelling? There is a page dedicated to her on FB as well.

Another girl I came across, is Angela Meeker, who went missing when she was 13 in 1979. Her hair is listed as Strawberry Blonde, but it may have become darker with age. She looks really similar to "Ruthie" in the second photo on NamUS.

Hi!

Angela was ruled out. Ruthie is most likely not Tammy, because Ruthie's teeth were noted to be straight and healthy. Tammy's teeth had a gap that would have been noted.

I saw another promising lead on NFM and I just have to share it here! I am very, very interested to see where this could lead!

"I went to school in aransas pass my whole life. I was 13 1/2 in november 1980. She looks like N....V maybe her last name. She had a messed up home life. She was hardly ever at home. She would stay at my house for weeks at a time. She lived right down the street from me. I never heard of her being "missing" but she wasnt around as I went thru high school."

This is why I love crowdsourcing! Through this, we may be able to get her home! I am just so ecstatic over all the media attention for her and I see her going home in the very close future! There are so many leads that can be followed up on! She may not be NV, though she may be, but I feel confident that someone might have the tip to bring her home!

I am SO happy with all these leads. I hope the people submitting them will be cooperative and helpful so Ruthie can soon have her name back. You guys are all amazing!

I just checked out the Never Forget Me page and saw the comment about NV! This is promising! Fingers crossed we may finally know her real name!

  • #1,191
This is fantastic! to finally think that this Jane Doe could possibly get her name back would be amazing. She was only a child.

Oh gosh, may I have a link to this? What exciting news!

I think it has been taken down. I just now checked back, and there is a message about not harassing (namely, messaging) tipsters. NFM also handles it if a name is handed in by contacting LE, so I think that is a reference to the comment about NV.

Wow, that's a shame people may have bombarded that tipster with messages. I thought of questions too, but I'd never harass or message anyone.

Hopefully NFM will follow up (I'm sure they will) and Ruthie may have her name back soon.

I missed it. I know everyone wants answers but that's not the way to get them.

Yes, NFM does follow-up on all tips, and they did on this one. LE was notified.

There is a girl in the Aransas Pass HS yearbook with the same surname, and the tipster said they might be related, but she isn't sure. But the girl in the yearbook is dark complexioned Hispanic and bears very little resemblance to WCJD. If this girl looks anything like NV, I would say that NV is probably not WCJD.

But the tip has been passed on.

The woman who posted the message was bombarded by private messages from other people who follow the page. So I ask that other people following the NFM Facebook page not contact the tipsters. The admins will take care of that.

Hi Springrain,

Ah I see. Thanks for your reply and for letting me know. I will keep searching and see what I can find.

That sounds like a great lead!!!
I am keeping my fingers crossed that something may come out of this.

Such a pity everyone is harassing the person who posted about NV

  • #1,199
NV's last name is Hispanic and fairly uncommon, so it seems like they could be related.

I can't believe people would bombard the tipster, so disrespectful. I had about 1000 questions, but I trust NFM to take care of necessary info.

it is possible that they are colored differently, my two sons (same mom and dad) are half Hispanic and one looks completely Hispanic and the other looks completely white. Either way hopefully the tip is useful!
