SAN ANTONIO — Police are asking for the public's help in finding 9-year-old Isaiah “Ronnie” Hedland, who was last seen on Hoover Avenue on the southwest side.

The boy is described as standing 4-foot-4 with brown eyes and brown hair. He has a mole on the left side of his face.

He is right handed with curly ear top length hair, was last seen wearing a white polo, khaki pants, and carrying a camouflage backpack.

If you have seen or may know the whereabouts of the missing child, please contact the San Antonio Police Department’s missing persons unit at (210)207-7660.

'We found him!' Concerned mother searches for missing boy, finds him in alley, says sister

The sister of a woman who found a missing child says he was found lying in an alley in the same neighborhood where he went missing on Tuesday afternoon.

So glad this little guy was found.

New video at link below in which LE says that the child was found by officers and then said that he couldn't stress enough the hard work put in by detectives and patrol officers in this case..they looked for Ronnie until they found him. ? ? ? Hey, making no bones about it, I don't hear very well, but I swear that's what he said. Re-listened, and, actually, he repeatedly mentioned the officers who found the boy. The heading of the article and the article itself says otherwise.

Main thing is that he is home, and was being checked by EMS and apparently ok so far.

So, the mystery remaining (to me) is, who the heck found Ronnie? Was there a lack of communication in LE? An assumption made?

SAN ANTONIO — Family members said San Antonio police have evidence that contradicts video posted on Facebook Wednesday that appears to show the moments a missing 9-year-old boy was found this morning.

Isaiah "Ronnie" Hedland went missing Tuesday afternoon but was found in an alley Wednesday morning with his shoes off. The cell phone video posted by Clarissa Perales showed the moment when she and her nephew, Alexavier Estrada, allegedly found Hedland in an alley.
