JLF simply wanted her husband dead for both emotional and financial gain. She loved the sympathy that her husband's good name bought her.

She coached a vulnerable dude to drive his own vehicle, carrying his own cell phone from TN to TX, and shoot her husband Jaime in broad daylight! She knew he would be caught! Planned on it.

IMO, she was most reliant that DRL would never give her up. And he didn't.

In return, he got a big-screen TV and love letters.

I think I need a very large green bucket ... JLF's behaviour is vomit-inducing.

I sense DRL learned the news that his soulmate, the true love of his life, saved herself. All my thoughts are with Jaime's family and friends.

1/28/22 Update: Next week, Jennifer Faith plans to voluntarily waive her rights as a defendant & plead guilty to the murder-for-hire charge, the plea agreement said. She will also have to give information & testimony about her involvement in her husband's death. After talking to her lawyers, Faith has concluded that it is in her best interest to enter into this plea agreement & all its terms, rather than to proceed to trial in this case. Faith will also waive her right to an appeal from her conviction & sentencing, as long as it does not exceed the statutory maximum punishment. The government will not bring any additional charges against Faith related to her plea of guilty, per the agreement. The plea agreement is conditioned upon approval from the Attorney General of the United States. Fake Emails and Calculated Lies: How Investigators Say a Woman Convinced Her High School Boyfriend to Kill

The emotional affair seemed to begin in March 2020, shortly after the former high school and college sweethearts reconnected on social media.

"I love and miss you so much," Darrin Lopez, 49, wrote in an email to Jennifer Faith on April 6. "Keep dreaming of our life together. Keep planning our lives together."

In the same email, Lopez, then referring to Jennifer's husband James "Jamie" Faith of nearly 10 years, wrote: "Nothing he can do to stop my love for you," he said. "He cannot destroy us no matter how hard he tries."

Just over six months later, Jamie Faith, a well-liked American Airlines technology director, was dead, gunned down outside the Dallas home he shared with Jennifer, 49. He was killed one day after celebrating the 15th anniversary of the day he and Jennifer met.

JLF confessed to impersonating both her husband and best friend in fake emails sent to DRL. Her accomplice was receiving fake emails designed to egg him on (all by his soulmate) and he still didn't get it!

Okay - I'll be on vacation starting this Wed. Feb. 9th - and won't be back online probably not until Thursday, Feb. 24th. I "might" check in periodically - we shall see if I can "plug in" somewhere! :D
Just "tag" me - and I'll see it then.

Much of what was written in the plea agreement and JLF's resume are shared in the Dept of Justice link below.

The Office of the United States Attorney General approved Ms. Faith’s plea agreement, as is customary in cases involving death penalty eligible cases. She is slated to be sentenced on May 26.

Jennifer Faith pleas guilty to plot of husband's murder | wfaa.com

Feb 7, 2022

During federal court Monday, Faith, who stood in a pinstripe jumpsuit, emotional throughout the duration of the half-hour hearing, pleaded guilty to the murder-for-hire charge. In return for her plea, prosecutors agreed to drop the obstruction charge and to recommend a sentence of life imprisonment.

The use of interstate commerce in the commission of murder-for-hire charge does carry a death penalty, but Jamie Faith's [family] requested to not seek the death penalty.

Sentencing, scheduled for May 26, will ultimately be at the discretion of the judge.

Sending my prayers, support, and wishes for comfort and peace to all Jaime's family and friends.

Although JLF entered her guilty plea today, I imagine there's no such concept as justice for the betrayal they must all feel knowing somebody they welcomed and loved because she was Jaime's partner could be so full of greed to wish this stand up guy death.

And her "one and only love" accomplice, a single dad and disabled veteran, left his minor children all alone for a prison cell. Everybody lost.

ETA: Learned today it was the grace of Jaime's family that saved JLF from the prosecutors from seeking the death penalty.

Trackdown: Oak Cliff woman pleads guilty in murder-for-hire of husband

Feb 7, 2022

[..]

Murder for hire is a death penalty case. Jamie Faith's family asked for the death penalty not be an option.

Darren Lopez, the old high school boyfriend, has not gone to trial for his alleged role in the murder.

Jennifer Faith concocted the scheme so she could go back to a life with her high school sweetheart on the $629,000 insurance policy that Jamie Faith had through his I.T. director job at American Airlines.

"You usually see stuff like this in the movies, but in this case it's real life," Roper said.

Jennifer Faith admitted sending emails to Lopez with generic pictures downloaded from the internet depicting physical and sexual abuse she said was caused by her husband. She even created fake emails supposedly from her husband and girlfriend sent to Lopez. It was abuse that never happened.

After the murder, she sent Lopez her credit cards to use in Tennessee and even sent money raised in a GoFundMe to her distant lover.

"Miss Faith isn’t going to get out of prison during her life, in my estimation," Roper said.

Sentencing for Jennifer Faith is set for the afternoon of May 26.
