According to Brewster County Sheriff's Office, Jesus Estrada was known to be approximately 20 miles south of Alpine.

Boy-scout's Buffalo Trail Council tells CBS 7 that their search and rescue team will be assisting officials in the search for Estrada.

We are told that he was with a group of undocumented immigrants who abandoned him Monday night.

That is when he called his son saying he needed help and was lost 20 miles south of Alpine.

His son also told authorities that Estrada lived in the U.S. most of his life but was deported seven years ago.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Brewster County Sheriff's Office at (432) 838-3488.
