No, the memory a 4 year old will have of the incident is one of violence and blood. That is not something a 4 year old typically would have any comprehension or experience of, and it is going to leave a huge psychological scar. It will be similar to what kids experience when caught up in war, they would not see it the same way you would. Whatever the molester was doing will pale in comparison to that, because what he was doing would not have involved extreme violence, to a 4 year old it would have been unusual behaviour, maybe scary, since they wouldn't have understood it. Beating someone to a pulp, that they would understand.

A four year old girl under sexual attack by a grown man who is raping or attempting to rape her, or any other act involving his penis for that matter, isn't extreme violence? Excuse me? :what: I can't believe anyone would make a statement such as this or even think like this other than maybe a pedophile.

"That dude (Flores) gave him (the witness) $5, and he went to go get the chicken feed. He came back to tell him (Flores) there was no chicken feed, then he saw him jump over the fence with the girl and she was screamin' and hollerin' back there," Mikey said. "He (the father) beat him and took back his daughter, then jumped back to see if he was dead. It's pretty shocking that something like that would happen. I mean, this is a small town."

ITA with Mr. Veit. "Justice was served," Veit said.

This father can live next to me any time. I am not scared of him.

If it doesn't involve violence it shouldn't be traumatic because kids that age don't remember things that are not extreme. Remember, a 4 year old has no idea what sex is, or the social stigmas attached, so they would not know what is/was going on.

i'm sorry but this is just BS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as i said in an earlier post, my daughter was 5 when she was molested. she is 36 now. this STILL sticks in the back of her mind. she STILL has flashbacks when there are certain things she and her hubby do that are natural in an adult loving relationship. she CAN'T do them because all she sees is her molesters face!!! i do not want to get into details but what you said is just BS they might not know what sex is but they do know what makes them feel uncomfortable. they know what doesn't feel right to them even if they don't know why or can't put a name to it. oh and by the way...the dr at the ER said with the size of a full grown man and a child my daughter's size. if he had tried to enter her he would have torn her insides apart. could have killed her or at the LEAST do so much damage she would have never had kids herself. uumm and this isn't violence?? i don't want to know your definition of violence. i know what mine is.

Not only that Neesaki but the implication that a child would consider the forcible insertion of a penis into their tiny vagina as a "game" they didn't understand. I was literally sick when I read that. I'm sorry, but a small child would not consider that a game!!!!!! I better stop now or I'll get a time out. Suffice to say that the old adage you can't argue reason and logic with someone who has none definitely applies to the makers of any such sick comments.

Jmo, but have to wonder if someone is relishing in the limelight and attention here after pushing the buttons of common sense thinkers that want/demand justice for this type of crime against those that cannot defend themselves.

I'm with those that disagree/look down on/are abhorred by certain provoking posts. This was a crime not a game. Would like to see links to studies etc upholding the opinion that this child would have been better off if her father had not intervened the way he did.

This father basically took a bullet for his daughter (like any decent parent would) and I wish him and his family all the best.

Some call them trolls. Very possibly the case, jmo. Definitely does not sympathize with the victim, possibly identifies with the perpetrator / perpetrators.

I've got an idea of how pedophiles can benefit to society. We can use them as crash test dummies. It's more accurate than using mannequins because mannequins don't have organs and flesh. But barring that they really don't contribute at all. So send them all to some God-forsaken island in the middle of no where, no electricity, no access to computers or child 🤬🤬🤬🤬, and let them fend for themselves a la Lord of the Flies. They can fish or gather vegetation to eat. But I'm tired of my tax dollars paying to house them and feed them and even allow them movies and Internet privileges! It's disgusting to me that they breathe the same air as me. Time and again we have seen that these sickos can not be rehabilitated.

Just got back from a family vacation in Austin and am raising a Shiner Bok to this dad on Father's Day.

I'd also like to point out that he killed this sick piece of work with his hands. He didn't run for a gun. That says to me that is only thought was protecting his baby girl from this evil chit.

I'd not only live next door to this man, I'd throw a bbq in his honor!

Oooo yes! And they can test drugs for pharmaceutical companies and also go out to landfills in sweltering heat to search for the bodies of precious babies who were murdered and tossed out by their "parents".

I'm sorry, it doesn't work that way in real life. In real life a person who loses control when they become enraged will do so potentially whenever they become enraged. In this instance it was someone molesting his daughter. Next time it might be if he suspects his wife is cheating, or his kid refuses to take out the trash, or someone cuts him off on the highway. People who resort to violence when enraged don't know boundaries, that is why they do it. Next time it could be you, think about that.

What. The. Hail???!?

Are you kidding me?

Tell ya what, if I am assaulting a preschooler, then I guess I'll take my chances that next time it might be me.

People who rape babies automatically exempt themselves from being considered human. In my opinion. Which, IMO, is totally spot on.

:rocker:I've been preaching this for years, lol. If I ever win the lottery....a big one...I would purchase an island for such use....for the worst of the worst. Give them a pair of goats or oxen and a club....only costs incurred would be surveillance and security to follow up if needed. IMO

I'd prefer they weren't given innocent farm animals!

Catching up after being away for the weekend.

I'm always totally shocked when those who hurt and abuse children are defended by some here at WS.

It makes me sad.

To say sexual abuse to a child is like a game is totally sick IMO.

Whether you agree with this Father's actions or not is totally acceptable and your opinion.

But to defend a molester here is not acceptable IMO.

This is a victim friendly crime forum.

Now that I'm caught up with this thread, I will step away for a little bit.
I'm flabbergasted to be honest.

This kind of thinking scares me. It's not normal or rational.

I would have stopped him and called the police. We have laws, a police force and a justice system. I would be a shield for my child but beyond that I would let society's institutions do their job. I most certainly would not further damage my kid through my actions or lack of control.

The only exception of course would be if he refused to stop, but that probably would not happen. Those sorts of people typically run at the first sign of being caught.

You would likely be planning your child's funeral. There is no reason to think this garbage would have stopped his sick crime at a kind request while you wait for police to respond.

Police are only minutes away, when seconds count. The dad did the right thing, he protected his daughter and most likely saved her life.
