There has been quite a few things and statements from people on here that have gotten me to smile and laugh.. i think we all just need to do that every once in a while. The sleuthing everyone at the jail for an example, I swear I wasn't, her charges just stuck out LOL I'd drive myself batty trying to look up everyone in the jail!!

Or a close friend of grandma is also a possibility.
There was a post in a previous thread about a SO with the middle initial "W" but I don't think that's him. I saw a missing person flyer posted on Facebook by someone I think is DD's sister. I did a search and found her related to DDD age 52. He is also one of her facebook friends but it doesn't look like he uses it.
If she was a close friend, would she not know mom's name, instead of asking Johnathan if that was her name???? So many questions, so few answers.

Jonatha has only been there for 6 weeks. It is possible (particularly since in was in the middle of the holidays) that a close family friend hadn't personally met jonathan, but knew of him.
BUT - if this person was a friend of Angela's there is a good chance that she would have recognized her voice on the phone.

If they were only trying to verify that Jonathan was in fact his mom's child, why not just ask him. Was that call staged as a big notice that pay-back was in effect...or did Jonathan try to call for help and then end up getting hurt because of it?

There was a link that was posted yesterday where one of the news agencies used the tag info to look up the owner of the car and it came back to Step Dad.

Arrested in connection with.....
That's a little more cautious than
Arrested for murder.
There are as many scenarios as there are versions of events for me. I have two line of thought to share ATM.
If the parents are involved, things slot together a little more neatly with what I have learned, but a stranger only would leave gaping holes ATM (clarity could of course straighten this a little, but MSM are not known for truth these days).
It all revolves around the phone call - we know a phone call (possibly with a return call) happened because a co-worker took the call.
So if the call happened exactly as related by LE, then Jonathans Mom at least heard him in the background, which means that within 15 mins an unknown person, subdued him, removed him from the apt and secreted him away in a VERY short period of time, without anyone noticing a commotion, or someone struggling with a child or a childs body.
That is just too small a window of time IMO.
IF the call happened a little differently, step dad getting a 'friend' to ask for mom (so his voice wasn't recognised) and using an 'emergency' reason, before mom calls back and speaks with step dad, who mentions that maybe a relative is coming over to visit (which is the emergency), and there is no child in the background.....well this leads me down a path of an earlier demise and parental involvement/knowledge.
The time frame is simply too tight ATM for me, but I don't believe this was a 1 or 2 person crime, I think that several people are involved to higher or lesser degrees.
If the Mom heard him 35 mins before arriving home, then LE has really let this boy down because he was likely taken from the home alive and killed elsewhere later, and that is almost as sad as being killed by those entrusted with caring for you.
No matter the who, the why, or the where, my heart hurts for the family members who have loved and now suffer the pain of losing this precious little guy.

And also.... why is the phone missing from Jonathans apt? To me that means whatever happened to him started at home and the calls came from their home #.
IMO SF was at that apt with someone else (probably the lady arrested) and Jonathon walked in on something. I wonder if she called maybe trying to help him because SF was going to hurt him?
