My money is on the woman POI/suspect having a criminal record. If the remains found are Jonathan's :( and the cordless phone from the residence where Jonathan lived and was purportedly used by Jonathan and the POI/Suspect to call Angela at her work...it tells me someone is destroying evidence...no just because they have something to hide but because they are already have a criminal record. How many stories have we seen lately in Missing Persons cases where the body has been burned? Almost always once there is a suspect involved they have a criminal past. Maybe the cordless phone was also burned, dumped?

If I were TES I might start scouring the roadways between where the body is found and where the boy lived, the route(s) you'd take from his neighborhood to where the remains were found to see if someone flung a cordless phone out of the window...???? JMO.

But if the woman was in the act of committing a crime, why even ANSWER the phone? Which by the way is one of the reasons I don't believe the phone stuff. If you are in the middle of kidnapping a child you are not going to answer a phone.

To keep JF from making a lot of fuss.

Getting in late on this one, it's been so busy for me in RL lately.

So sad to see that this most likely isn't going to end happily. :( Why does stuff this continue to happen????

The woman wearing a white tshirt in the video would have been in handcuffs if she was "arrested in her home:. We may be barking up the wrong tree.

I'm agreeing - if this person were a suspect in the murder of this child, she'd have had on some handcuffs. That's just officer safety 101.

ICA was charged w/ murder before Caylee was even found, much less identified....IF I remember correctly. OK, so I'm two pages behind (danged housework), I need to catch back up here.

Toni Keller was also burned and not identified. They weren't even sure her remains were human for a while. They charged him without the identification based on a confession.

I would think a video of someone leaving a body there would be just as good as a confession, if not better. You can't contest that it was coerced.

the woman also has on a hat...that does not happen either.

Linda, thank you for your touches of gallows humor. It is good to know that sometimes something strikes me funny at a terible time.

The long handled item might have been a rake or what ever to stir the fire

Can anyone else tell what it looks like they were removing from the home as evidence? Looked like burned sticks and a broom but I could be wrong.....

I don't see how answering it, asking if that's your mom and then hanging up is going to keep him from making a fuss, apparently if the calls are to be believed, he already made a fuss when he said it was an emergency.

I expected an arrest of the phone call woman.

So I do think DD was watched heading to check on Jonathan.

The phone call leads me to think that the woman wanted to confirmation of identity.

These phone calls are interesting.

Angela did not call le from work after a stranger asks her about her son.

That leads me to think she was told information in the call that is being withheld.
She did leave work and call LE from her home, that says whatever the information was warrented sudden reaction , That apears to be contradicting to me ,not calling from work but calling from home.

Was there something left at the apartment Angela needed to see? Or remove before LE got there?

Another thing is talk of this room mate. I do believe there is one and that is being kept quiet for a reason. Angela and DD split up 3 weeks ago it makes sence she would have a friend who let her and Jonathan stay with them. I think they are trying to keep stuff quiet. The roomate may prove to be important and the true target of an intended crime.

At this point I think that Angela has little to do with this and her choice is friends is most likely what has lead to this.

The baby sitter /rootmate reports and retraction could be something Angela was requested by LE to retract and this investigation could be light years away from where we are. MOO..
I could be wrong and there is no roomate or babysitter and she lied about it but with all the reporting over the case about all these things that havent panned out or are later said not to be true and LE still trying to tilt towards Angela {defending her babysitting lie ETC) I think there is alot going on with what is the roomate babysitter issue.

What I am wondering is where on earth this fire was. I live more toward the country, so burning out here is not strange, but in the city? And the odor? Any locals want to chime in and suggest some potential places?
why not a fireplace? the broom removal made me think it.

In one of the evidence photos posted, the cops took out a rake/broom, but a bag was covered over the rake part...I think that speaks for itself :(

edit...some are saying its a broom...regardless....used for the same purpose.

Police don't just go around willy nilly handcuffing "suspects". Murder or not.

Once officially arrested and mirandized the risk of the POI lawyering up and shutting up increases. That's common sense 101

It could be a shovel too!

I went on google earth and went up and down Oak street and adjoining streets, I did not see the house where this suspect was arrested. I looked hard but didn't see even a house that might be close to that. Perhaps there was another arrest on a different matter involving a different person and the media are jumping the gun?

Also, if the POI/Suspect is the one in the video...she looks like (ahem...) she can take out people...cuffs should be necessary regardless. Even the slight, shifty ones (like myself) can be scrappy when their back is up against a wall. LOL. :( Sorry for the funny. Cases like these draw me to this board. I feel compelled to help. And then another heartbreaking outcome...AGAIN.

What will really be lousy is if they can determine a time of death and if an Amber Alert may have prevented said death? Like if an AA had been issued...could he have been found prior to his demise...? :banghead: It is so hard though. The cops were working on the information they had at the time...the mother appeared to tell them things that didn't check out. Naturally, their hinky meter will go up. It is hard for me to blame LE in cases where the people who need to be forthcoming from the jump aren't...even if they are not suspects.

What if this POI/Suspect was contributing to the marital problems it is alleged in reports that the mother and stepdad were having...and the POI did this out of revenge? Or is an accomplice? Again, this is just all my own speculation and sadly, none of it brings us a cute reddish blonde haired boy who should be playing with his Christmas gifts.

I thought that the first thing(s) put into the back of the vehicle looked like the little metal legs of yard signs. Do you know what I mean? Those realtor signs or contractor signs that people put in yards - or around here the election yard signs. It looked like several of those with the brown paper covering the sign part and the legs sticking out.

I think for the sake of the family and friends posting with us...we need to be sure we post *Graphic when discussing details, so they can skip over those posts if they so choose.

The woman has been charged with kidnapping, they will add murder when the body is identified. They are sure it is him, but must wait on confirmation which could come as early as this afternoon.

Step father and mother have not been cleared of involvement.

What I was saying is she hung up the phone but continued to act like she was still talking to mom, to get JF to go with her. She tell's JF your mom says it's ok to come with me. Then he just walks out with her believing mom said it's ok.
