Just got the Amber Alert via facebook. This is the first time I have ever seen an Amber Alert on Facebook. I have seen them shared through media outlets but never in a notification. Hope these kids are found soon and safe.

I got an alert from my local news station in San Antonio about this amber alert. I’ve never gotten one like that, but I hope they continue doing it!

The mom was found murdered. Those boys are so cute—I hope they are at least found ok.

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – An Amber Alert has been issued out of Dallas for abducted boys 7-year-old Jorden Rodgers and 1-year-old Julien Rodgers after their mother was found murdered inside an apartment, police said.

Police said they responded to a welfare call at the Holston Apartments in the 8800 block of Ferguson Road Sunday evening. The mother, later identified as Latiffiney Rodger, was found dead from homicidal violence.

I did not realize initially that the mom was found dead

ETA I feel like there is a timing problem , here. Boys were last seen at 8 pm? By whom? Near Ferguson Rd? That's where the apartments are where mom was found deceased. Someone called in a welfare check ( apparently ) so we could guess someone had not seen or heard from mom in some time to warrant the call in, right? So mom was found Sunday night, also boys were last seen Sunday night at 8. So it sounds to me like mom was found around 8 and so that's when the boys were discovered missing. But couldn't it have been hours or even days prior that the boys were actually last seen?
I'm speculating about this timeline.

I am just south of Dallas and I didn't get anything on my phone either. Just on facebook. It made my screen flash and showed the amber alert on my newsfeed. I have never seen that before.

Fox 4 news just reported the boys are safe and with officers!!!
