So her uncle wasn't the very last to see her, he was one of the last of a group of people. This is bizarre. She has to be stuck somewhere in the building.

Could someone in the congregation have poked his head in the door and asked Kayla to help him look for his dog that escaped from his car while he was in church? Kids are too often lured this way. There are big fields next to the church away from the highway. It just seems impossible that she vanished in such a short time. Of course her Mom probably spent some time inside looking for her in the restroom, etc, The church doesn't look very big.

I'm reminded of a case I saw on tv, a little girl was abducted from a resident Christmas party at the apartment complex's clubhouse. There was group of people congregating getting ready to leave, and the little girl went to grab coats, was out of sight for just a few moments, when she disappeared. It turned out there was a maintenance man, he grabbed her and sInce we was familiar with the building, took her out a side window, iirc. The fibers from her coat ultimately led to his conviction. So, as in her case, I think maybe someone working on the grounds or near the grounds could be likely...any repairs, renovations, etc...?Also, maybe someone who lives in the neighborhood that doesn't necessarily attend the church. They might drive by regularly and know that there are kids there on Tuesdays. Did Kayla attend this service every week? Of course the FBI is scrutinizing every member and anyone and everyone connected with that church.

Thank goodness there has been a quick response by the FBI, press, etc. They will have resources and quick access to so many things, cell pings in the area, camera footage, experts, technology, etc etc. But we know though that as more time goes by...and much time is passing...

Marking my spot to research attempted abducting over the last year in the area, etc.

Hoping you come home safe, Kayla. You've got a lot of people who obviously love you dearly and are praying for you.

Can we get a blueprint of the church?

A maintenance person, custodian or construction worker was my immediate thought as well. Someone whose presence in the background would not be suspect and/or would be generally ignored. Someone who knows or has observed enough of the routine and visitors to the facility, but who is not necessarily connected. This is a fairly isolated location, however, from Google street view, it does appear that there is some type of construction occurring across the road. Can someone local confirm if this is still an active worksite? Given the short timeframe, a crime of opportunity cannot be ruled out.

One can actually feel the tenderness, love and affection radiating from this very beautiful, sweet, young child. Please, please let her return to the safety of her home and loved ones.

I really dislike this has gone on for so long.

I'm hoping they are interviewing and children she may have been playing with. They could have info about who has been hanging around, where the kids like to hide, etc.

So who was the girl she was with in the lobby? Where did she go? Home with her family? Could they have seen something/someone. I know they have probably questioned them but its just so crazy she went missing amongst so many people. :( Heart is aching for this poor family.

Has there been any mention of her Father I may have missed?

That is what I have been trying to determine this morning and I have found no information. It would be really nice if this was a parental abduction because that is the only way I see this ending well.

Reading this thread I had flashbacks of Kyron Horman.

All I read was that her parents lived together - and to be honest I can't remember where, one of you guys may have written this here. So that gave me the impression Dad may have been there and they have no reason to think it might be parental.

This just came across my news this morning. How scary! I pray she is ok!\

The little bit of reading I have done has said dad lived at home but he was not at the church service. Only mom was.

Who actually saw her?
( besides mom and brother)

Was she ever really there?

She was playing in the lobby with?

I think she definitely was there.

Is this a super small church that does not have children's classes/activities while the adults are in their service?

Yes, this was a small church. My understanding is that it was a mini-church being held inside a larger church. Basically they used the facilities.

Her cousin's husband... appears to have been the last one to see her in the church lobby.
