Pyscho yes, but I don't think he is mentally ill as the article states to be incompetent to stand a trial. He had very elaborate schemes with his GF after the murder to elude LE.

BEDFORD, Texas — A man pleaded guilty to the murder of a 14-year-old Bedford girl Thursday, receiving 10 years in prison for first-degree murder, officials announced.

The murderer, 21-year-old Jordin Roache, has been in jail since first being arrested in 2017, and reached the plea deal with the 372nd District Court.

Kaytlynn Cargill, the victim, was found dead in an Arlington landfill in June of 2017, two days after she was first reported missing.

As part of the plea deal, Roache, who was tried as an adult, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for first-degree murder. Roache, who will be listed as a felon, has been incarcerated since his arrest in 2017 and will get credit for time served.

I am local, and I think of Kaytlynn often when I drive through her home city. I also would have expected a longer sentence.
