This is one of the only missing persons threads I have started so if I did anything wrong please let me know and I will fix it.

There is a post about him missing on his step daughters Facebook which it seems that he has had multiple back surgeries and usually requires a cane to walk but didn’t have the cane with him. Also his family member said that he didn’t have his phone but they believe he had his moms phone and law enforcement are trying to ping it. The family member also says he was believed to be heavily medicated, I am assuming it’s due to all his back problems.

Yeah that is what I was thinking too, golf would be the last thing I would be thinking of. I did however look around his friends list and there seem to be a lot of serious golfers on his friends list. Maybe it was something he used to be very good at and very into. What I find odd though is on his step daughters Facebook post either her or his wife posted that he disappeared after going to look for a golf ball. I am assuming he went to look for one he hit. My question is, why go searching that hard for a golf ball you hit? Are they that expensive?

My Dad was an avid golfer when he was younger. The brand that he used (a good one) runs about $3 per ball.

Just want to add, once when I was a young dumb teen, I “borrowed” a golf cart and picked up some balls on a course. Turns out, I had picked up the ball that a friend of my family had made a hole- in -one with. He was SUPER mad. (Lol.) Maybe the ball was special for this reason? (Just throwing ideas out).

I didn’t think about that, you could be right. He could have sold a lot of his stuff per his wife’s Facebook market post of the golf stuff. Maybe he was just having fun with what he had laying around....
