Identified! TX - League City, WhtFem Skeletal 35UFTX, 21-29, gapped teeth, Feb'86 - Audrey Lee Cook

we were finally able to get a missing person report filed on theresa ("terri") vernell jones. The league city pd and the city of alvin pd both refused to get involved with her case because her loc lka was not in their jurisdiction. (actually, her loc lka is now within the city limits of alvin, but it wasn't in 1980).

So i contacted the brazoria county sheriff.

The detectives looked around and found her name on an old list of missing persons, but she wasn't in ncic, and they have no idea what happened to her casefile. So they created a new one. Incidentally, one of terri's sisters was a victim of an unsolved homicide in florida in 1982. So the bcsd will also be looking into that case to see if they are possibly connected.

I've created a namus casefile (mp 33654), but it is still not yet published. I expect that it will be soon, and that terri's four living siblings will be able to submit frs's to get a dna profile in the system for her.

· Distinguishing Marks/Features: Scar onleft hip UID no scars mentioned, but as her body was nearly complete or completeskeleton, I don’t know if a scar could be noticed

· Fingerprints: Fingerprint information is currently notavailable
· DNA: Samples submitted - Tests not complete

I also put pictures of UID and missing person....but I feel it's very hard to do this in an easy way here....grrrrrr

I know...I don't say she could be Jane Doe, just doubt it because of the stats..especially the height

I found Pamela Lovitt's NamUS while trying to ID the Knox county, KY redhead murders Jane Doe. The Knox county JD doe has a stained front tooth. I still actually think Pamela Lovitt is a possibility for JD Knox County. I can't tell if PL has stained tooth or gap. Then I saw JD League City, Texas on the FBI site. I can't anything on Pamela other than what's on her NamUs, I'm not very experienced though. She's left home @ 18 to never be seen again. They actually call her Karen in the NamUs circumstances. Pamela is heavier than JD League City but Pamela had been gone for at least 9 years from the picture. Height & age are good matches. So what do you guys think? I've been looking at them too long. Their noses are a bit different but their eyes, eyebrows, eye shape & mouth look practically identical to me. Again I’ve been looking at them too long side by side can’t be objective now.

Wouw...this is absolutely a great find....I came across Knox County Jane Doe (with discolored front thooth) and searched for matches to. Have to look to the stats to give a good reaction.

Hi...I'm not sure, but if I zoom in it looks more like a discoloration...it looks sort of yellow (the picture is discolored too btw, and that makes it difficult to see it right) I would suspect a darker shadow when there is a gap. Maybe someone is willing to blow up the picture with only the mouth/teeth, or teach me how to do it. :blushing:
