Page 2 of the affidavit---note at the bottom it is discussed who was making the threatening phone calls and why. After clicking on this image, double click on it to get largest view.

Um, yes, and plenty of information from "subjects" not "witnesses."

Alrighty then.

Why would anyone make threatening phone calls if the motivation was in fact a scorned (ex)lover?

Female voice: sleep with my friend or else?

Or more like: stop sleeping with my husband or else?

Maybe the words to the expressed threats would provide some clarity, but they opted not to disclose that so that's that.

Possible that the threatening phone calls were part of a lure package to get Leah to the shop that night?

Is anyone else creeped out by the fact that Leah's murder was on May 29/30 and FWPD thinks the triple Sunset Lane murders were on May 28 -- one year and a day earlier?

Kinda has a serial killer-ish vibe to it in that regard.

I'm thinking there will be more geniuses involved. What a tangled web.

In case there was any doubt, "the girlfriend" in the Fort Worth caper is specified in the FW arrest affidavit by name -- MEM.

I knew the Texas Rangers would clean up this mess. When they sink their teeth into something, they're like a pack of pitbulls on a poodle.

I'm not so sure the arrests have ended yet either.............only for today. Minkley's girlfriend needs to go down too. She was at the scene of a triple murder, and yet she said nothing. That makes me question entirely what she knew about Leah's murder. She obviously wouldn't say s**t if she had a mouthful of it. She pretends to be half retarded and loyal, but everybody sees through it.

I still think there may be a female involved at the core of Leah's death, but we'll have to wait and see how things shake out. Today was a good day........3 torturous killers off the street and headed to death row.

What about EC's wife? Didn't she give him an "alibi"?
Was Leah with the the dad or son, first? Was she with the son, father of her child, then went to be with the father? But, was trying to get back together with the son? Did they all work for EC? Good grief.....
Was it EM making the phone calls? Seems it was a female from Wichita Falls. EM needs to be in jail.

The way I've understood it, she started dating Aaron Blair first, had a child with him, and then broke things off.

Apparently afterwards she started working at Blair auto and began "dating" EC Blair. I say dating in parenthesis because he is a married man.

According to the latest MSM reports, she was in the process of breaking things off with EC Blair and was attempting to rekindle things with Aaron, for the sake of their kid.

Apparently it was either during or after this breakup process that she was murdered. Obviously she still worked at Blair Auto the night she left the graduation ceremony, or at least it appears that way. Part of the big mystery way back in the beginning was why she had gone over to the Auto shop that night anyway. If I had to take a wild guess, I'd say it was due to her being texted or called and told to come over there. Was it from Blair or Hellams ? Nobody knows.

Hopefully they managed to find a record of it which will help piece the puzzle together. Of course it is also entirely possible that she was simply told to come back to the shop that night, sometime earlier in the day, by either Blair or Hellams while she was still on the job. I assume she worked that Friday, but I have no way to verify it.

Seems Leah's dad knew she was "dating" EC......ick.....wonder if Aaron and Lisa knew about it?

I guess it all depends on what other words you might want to substitute for "dating". I'm not too sure the two of them would've used that term themselves.

From the Leah Martin affidavits:

A female subject who made the threatening phone calls who told investigators she was paid by RH to make them.

The female subject who made the calls identifiable (by voice?) by the local Ranger.

The same female subject close enough to Hellams family to have spent a weekend at the Hellams residence on FM 209. The same weekend that Leah Martin was brutally murdered and her body buried on the FM 209 property in an attempt by the accused perps to hide evidence of their horrific crime. Subject says Hellams had an excavator on the FM 209 property that weekend.

The same female subject given a "ride home" to Wichita Falls on Sunday, May 31 by a person corroborated by LE to be Minkley.

"Home to Wichita Falls" could mean someone living in WFalls, or a person staying in WFalls, but not having their own household.

Wonder how long after Leah missing before this subject informed LE about her weekend, what she saw, what she knew?

I'll be surprised if this subject went early to GPD to say anything about an excavator being on property controlled by a co-worker of Leah Martin the weekend Leah became a missing person. I doubt this subject provided this information out of good citizenship.

More likely when caught in a wringer about the phone calls.

From Minkley's FW affidavit:

The anonymous unnamed informant who gave FWPD info about Minkley and MEM regarding the Sunset Lane murders.

The anonymous informant -- anonymous by choice according to FWPD because of the "severity" of the FW crimes.

The scared anonymous informant who appears to have only come forward with FW info after they learned "former friend" Minkley was locked up in Young Co. jail on a murder related charge.

The same anonymous informant who was in contact with Texas AG Office investigator before they provided FWPD with the information.

The same informant who told LE that Minkley has thing for methamphetamines and handguns.

Charming. We need more of that in the neighborhood.

And the girlfriend -- ai, ai, ai.

The girlfriend who knows about three dead people in Fort Worth and knows who shot them. Walked among the dead people, even.

The girlfriend who says nothing to LE about those three dead people. Nothing. Nada. Silence.

The girlfriend who says nothing that would have at the least taken the Minkley factor out of this band of terribles.

The girlfriend who makes many public comments about Leah Martin's case before and after the boyfriend arrested.

The girlfriend who makes lots of online protestations of the boyfriend's innocence after his initial arrest.

The girlfriend who only breaks 'says nothing' pattern about the dead people in FW when it was probably clear that boyfriend and girlfriend were caught in a wringer.

Wonder who's representing the defendants?

Hellams and Minkley probably already have court provided counsel on their first charges. Capital murder charges could add to or change those appointments if they are court provided.

ECB most likely to have private counsel.

Expect arraignments and bond amounts today and whatever other new information emerges on the three currently charged for the murder of Leah Martin.

Wonder if the girlfriend has legal counsel of her own? If so, not very good because first step yesterday should have been NO social media. None. Deactivate your FB account and STHeckU. Helped herself none, nada with a horrified, heart-broken, angry community. Hurt herself further.

New arrests would be nice.

With these three all in the jail and with it open that one is "cooperating" -- just say that institution may be experiencing more bad vibes than usual.

Visiting day on Saturday -- nothing but a picnic in the park.

Everyday Grace--not to pick at you, but you left one factor out of the equation.

Had Emmie Moon told the cops what happened in Ft.Worth over a year ago, there's a good chance Leah would still be alive today. That's why, in my opinion, she is just as culpable as the other three.

I don't know that Blair would have had the ability to carry out this scheme were it not for having a psychopathic helper like Minkley to do all the heavy lifting. I also wouldn't be surprised to find out that Minkley is the one that did the final smothering and killing, while Blair either watched from a distance or was in another room all together.
Blair may not have even been at the shop that night.

We've all heard of people taking out "contracts" or "hits" on people........well, I think that's where Minkley came in.

Had Minkley been locked up and unavailable, I'm not too sure Blair would have ever hatched this plan.

I think EM did seek legal council, but did not have the funds needed to retain. I did notice on two occasions she advertised BRMJ's truck "for sale", and listed it on FB and CL. It's my opinion she is just as guilty as the others and was more involved than people know.

I'm stuck on the necklace and ring information. More women involved? Who was funding what? Why?

In agreement, steelman.

I think the Minkley pathology factor weighs heavy in this, although that is not to say another sicko could not have come along to fill that role if ECBoss was determined.

He, too, is a man of pathologies.

But, yes, having Minkley at hand-y-man had to be a factor that may have pushed this from thoughts to words to action.

I think even Hellams was probably induced from thought to action by the availability of Minkley's mix of pathologies.

"Say, you know that old buddy of mine who's back in town? Well, he says when he was in Fort Worth, he...."

Hellams was probably seeing an opportunity for dollar bills in his roles in all of this.

MEM very much shares culpability with this trio. Her pathology in this tragedy is not without responsibility. Not at all.

Her online words throughout were themselves a glimpse into a woman who resorts to manipulation attempts when feeling the wringer squeezing tighter.

I hope any deals made out of this that might benefit her be small, if any at all. My opinion is that her known inactions and actions warrant a heavy punishment. I can't see how withholding solid information about four dead people could warrant anything less.

Not for any of them and that includes those who did not on-their-own provide information they had personal knowledge of as soon as they knew Leah Martin was missing and from where.

Anyone local or with local ties to Graham would have known quickly. Especially anyone plugged into the local friends/family via social media.

I got lots of thoughts about the different chickas who have proximity to these three arrestees. I'm being nice by not saying more right now.

To MEM I would say, "Get real, honey. Pray as you will, ain't nobody gonna turn a toad into a prince. Ain't no prince gonna save you in the world. Ain't no amount of good lovin' gonna turn that man or others like him into anything other than what he is.

"A monster, in some people's words.

"Life isn't Beauty and the Beast.

"You say you're concerned about your children if you are 'taken away?' Gimme a break. Your children were around a man you knew had killed three people.

"You did that. You are responsible for how all of this has impacted your children.

"You can rebuild your life from where it stands today, but Leah Martin cannot.

"For that, you also bear some responsibility and, yes, you should pay.

Yes, still so many unanswered questions.

The three men are currently detained at the Young County Detention Center under bonds that total more than $1 million each.

When contacted at EC's Auto Repair on Wednesday afternoon, Blair's wife, Lisa Blair, declined to comment.

The woman who made the threatening calls told police that Hellams and a man later identified as Minkley returned to the FM 209 residence in the early morning hours of May 30. She said that Hellams and Minkley then gave her a ride to her Wichita Falls home, but Minkley stopped in at a Sutherlands home improvement store first. Police obtained surveillance footage from the store that depicts Minkley and Hellams.

"We knew that this guy was involved,” Leah’s father, Billy Martin said, “We were just waiting on the evidence to come in to take him where he needs to be.”

He said he got a call from a detective informing him an arrest was made. Billy Martin immediately got in his car and went to the shop to take a moment for himself. He expressed that it was a joyous moment for him.

The family business, EC Blair's Collision and Auto Repair, has scrubbed EC from its website already. http://blairscar.com. Expecting more about that soon.
