According to the arrest affidavits, the woman who made the threatening phone calls told authorities where Hellams was on the night Martin went missing. The documents showed she told authorities that he was at the EC’s Auto Repair Shop around 9:00p.m. She stated she knew this because she stayed the night at his place. Then, the affidavits state she told police he came back home with Minkley Jr. at approximately 2:00a.m. on May 30th. The documents also reveal Minkley Jr. rented a backhoe and brought it to Hellams’s property on the 30th. This is the property where Martin’s remains were found on August 5th.

Also in the KAUZ report on the Graham affidavits:

All three of the suspects have been charged with capital murder. Hellams and Blair Jr. are also charged with tampering with evidence of a human corpse. Their bonds are set at $1.25-million. The bond for Blair Jr. is $1-million.

Yes, her mother is alive. She and the dad were divorced several years ago. She has been more or less ignored by law enforcement and the media. She has been away from Graham since her divorce, but has been involved with the search and services.

After watching this video, it appears there is a discrepancy between Mom and Dad on whether Leah had some kind of relationship with EC Blair. Normally it probably wouldn't matter much, but in this case it would help to establish motive.

We still have no idea what motivated Blair to do something this sadistic, or order it done.

For anybody interested, the Graham Leader Facebook page is exploding with comments. It appears that one of Emmie's relatives has decided to get on there and defend her from the masses. It's not going so well, but it's fun to watch.

Also, someone posted a screenshot of a message they had with Emmie previously about the murders in Ft Worth. This was prior to all of the news coming out this week. Emmie stated quite plainly that the rumors about the murders in Ft. Worth were totally false. This was prior to Minkley confessing to them. Don't forget, she was there at the murder scene and saw the bodies.

That goes a long way in showing she's most likely a pathological liar who will say just about anything. Her little "poor me" act has run it's course.

Yes, I am nowhere near clear on the motives.

Been doing some timeline work. Lots of new things from this week's developments to process.

I've also been working on some deciphering of Mr. Minkley.

I'm leaving some things out for attemped brevity and others because they may be over the line regarding TOS.

Billy Ray Minkley, Jr. aka "Tank"

Born 1972 in Tarrant County, Texas.

3-18-1994 -- Felony conviction Burglary/Building -- Wilbarger Co. -- 18 year TDCJ sentence.

BRM also has a prior Young Co. conviction and a felony escape conviction in Palo Pinto Co. Dates and other specifics not known to me at this time.

1-21-2012 -- BRM released from TDCJ -- 17 years, 3 months after 1994 conviction date.

No early parole? Why? Any infractions, new charges, etc. during his TDCJ time? What units did he serve in? Where did he serve pre-parole? Etc.

3-15-2012 -- Tarrant Co. arrest. Unspecified parole violation.

11-16-2013 -- Tarrant Co. arrest. Misdemeanor Theft/Property $50-500.

11-21-2013 -- Tarrant Co. arrest. Aggravated Robbery (felony). Possibly 3 counts.

The 9-22-2015 FWST article says that Minkley has misdemeanor convictions in Tarrant Co. for theft (probably the 11-16-2013 arrest) and for attempting to possess a controlled substance, methamphetamine. No dates provided by FWST for these convictions.

The article does not mention the 11-21-2013 arrest for aggravated robbery that I keep seeing. What's the story on that? Case disposition?

My notes also reflect a 9-17-2013 arrest in Tarrant Co., but I'm not able to locate the source for that at this time.

2-2014 -- Date provided to FWPD by EM as to how long she and BRM have been together.

Before 5-28-2014 -- BRM said to have been a roommate of the persons who lived on Sunset Lane in Fort Worth.

5-28-2014 -- Three people shot and killed on Sunset Lane in FW. Date of deaths established by FWPD.

5/6 -2014 -- BRM & EM said to have "left town" around the time of the Sunset Lane murders.

5-29-2015 -- Leah Martin was murdered in Graham.

Who isn't concerned about the children?

Seems to me, though, that painful FB comments about their momma are not the most pressing issue regarding their best well-being and safety at this time, ya know?

Just wanna kick some momma's behinds some days for what they selfishly expose their children to.

That particular momma is in a world of hurt. I hope her children can be spared what they can be spared from for the future, but so much damage is already created by momma's horrificly bad choices.

She continues to place her best interests in front of theirs in my opinion.

I'm figuring that ability will be taken from her. Hope so, anyways.

I think the only reason LE and the D.A. haven't dropped the hammer on her is because they need her testimony against him. She probably has a wealth of information regarding his activities over the last couple of years. Not only that, but as long as she isn't under arrest, she will continue to just chat away non-stop telling them anything they want to know.

Keep in mind, she sees Billy Ray Minkley as a "victim". If he isn't being attacked by three people and having to defend himself by killing them all, then he is tricked into digging a grave and unknowingly burying a girls body.

It may be a slippery slope though, because the way she behaves, I wouldn't put it past her to get up on the witness stand and lie like a rug.

I missed the majority of this thread somehow. I think Leah was found when I was off line for about a week. Anyway, I just reread the entire thread and my mind is blown. WOW! I'm lost on motive, unless the business was a front, and she knew too much about his finances. Or the whole love triangle thing wasn't public knowledge. Either way, they wanted her silenced. There must be something E can be charged with.... geez...

No doubt every law enforcement agency involved has a keen interest in what EM has to offer.

Surely those with prosecution power in the jurisdictions are accustomed to witnesses such as EM and are utilizing cross-checks.

EM's publicly made statements since May 29 suggest to me that she thinks she is smarter than the investigators. Clearly that is not working out so well for her.

If she thinks she is smarter, craftier, wilier than the folks in the prosecutor's offices, she will find herself again in not-working-out-so-well land.

If she lies on the stand any deals are off. And she picks up a perjury charge. And so on.

No, EM should not be able to monkey-wrench these cases.

Not saying she won't give it her best shot because she has certainly chosen some reckless courses of action.

Oh yeah, there are things she can be charged with in each jurisdiction.

I'm in a wait-and-see mode as to what is next for EM and other subjects.

Before I move forward in the timeline, I want to draw this out from the KAUZ report because I have not seen some of this new information anywhere else:

The arrest affidavits reveal during several interviews with police, Hellams lied about where he was that night. First, the documents state he told police he was with a friend. Then a few days later he changed his story and said he was in Wichita Falls the night Martin went missing. In the arrest affidavits, it shows authorities discovered Hellams did end up going to his friend's house that night, but for a different reason.

The documents show the friend of Hellams was interviewed by authorities. He told them Hellams was at his place the night she went missing to dispose of a sawed off shotgun and some clothes. The affidavits report the shotgun was recovered by police.

Some of this new information I read in the Young Co. Capital Murder arrest affidavits, other parts I don't recall seeing and have rechecked more than once. Some of the information is from the August arrest affidavits.

I have not seen documents for RH &ECB tampering w/evidence charges so possibly those are being referenced by KAUZ for sorcing this information.

This information has me thinking RH went to [Redacted]'s house with the shotgun and the bag of clothes after midnight on 5-30, but before 2-2:30 am when the unnamed female subject said he returned home to the FM 209 property.

Not sure why, but without the "that night" language I had been thinking Ross stopped by there on Saturday morning before he may have gone with BRM to get the backhoe. Or check in with the boss at the shop, or whatever RH was up to that time of that morning.

I'm changing my timeline to put RH at subject [Redacted]'s house in Graham in a Midnight - 2/2:30 am on Saturday, May 30.

Am I off track in thinking that?

I've seen it all, and yes, she is cray-cray, and probably guilty of a lot, but Minkley is the one who said she was at the murder scene. Guess they can't arrest her on what he has said about her without more evidence.

Yes, she said she was there where the 3 persons were killed but she said she didn't know it would happen and also said she didn't say anything about these 3 killings by her 'boy' because she was affraid of him. lol she is really a liar.
She also admitted to be with Minkley the day he went to Ross's with the pipe for the 'pipe work'. She even said the measures of the pipe!! Of course there was no pipe work. The hole was to dump poor Leah. I have been there in Graham Leader fb page. All she has been saying is saved in screenshots.

Everyone is so focused on EM, which I think is a shame. I get that Minkley clearly is a shady character, but what on earth is his motive? I keep going back to the focus of this all, which makes most sense to me about motive. EC and Leah's relationship.
