Yes, that is how LE narrowed the timeline to 18 minutes. They have asked if anyone saw Lina, (to tighten the timeline), or observed anything unusual during that time.

In thinking about this critical time block, I keep coming back to the speculation that there absolutely were witnesses, but they are too afraid, or instructed not to speak. In thinking of children in general, I have witnessed this tendency many times. Sometimes they just clam up.

The photo was on websleuths a few days ago, the one on Eagles Flight Advocacy and Outreach FB page is a better quality. (It seems to be better quality than the one I uploaded)

They are unique. Family said unlike bracelets (bangles), earrings are real gold. There is also a dangly part on the earrings with two small white teardrops shapes.

She was not wearing this particular outfit on the day she went missing, but per the family she was wearing these earrings.

I assume like most three year olds, she probably wore the same earrings for weeks or months. My daughter did.

I’m trying to work out in my mind what the circumstances were that she was outside playing with other children while she was well dressed with expensive jewelry on.

Maybe the jewelry wasn’t expensive?? Maybe they just got home from somewhere special?? But wasn’t dad at work? Does mom take kiddos out to somewhere special without dad?

I thought the jewelry was plastic? Didn't I read that somewhere? Traditional looking clothes always look fancy, but that might not have been an oddity for her.

I'm staying out of missing children's threads for obvious reasons, but I'm kind of "sucked" into Lina's missing case. Where is this precious child?

If they were running up and down steps, around paths and in between cars in a parking lot, they were separated easily. If the kids were of similar age to Lina, they are not going to necessarily be able to describe it the same way an older kiddo could.

In previous pictures we've seen, Lina has on blue bangles on one wrist and gold on the other. I think the blue ones may be plastic but the gold bangles look like real jewelry, although not super high quality gold.

I kind of agree...they made this choice...but they could have combined the older pictures with the picture of the dress she was last seen wearing.

I think she looks older on her Amber Alert photo because her hair is pulled back tightly. (JMO: But it looks like it may have been wet when it was pulled back)

According Yami Virgin reporter at KABB and WOAI, LE did not want a side profile in her missing posters. LE wanted a frontal profile. So, this was probably why these pictures were not released immediately. There are advocacy groups who are working with the family and they probably asked the family if there was anything more that would help find Lina. (Just my speculation)

I think she looks much younger in the Afghanistan picture because she has bangs. (JMO)

Per Yami Virgin at KABB/WOAI. It was LE's decision to release specific images on her missing posters. They wanted a frontal image and not a side profile.
I personally think a close-up of her earrings should be on her missing posters, but I'm not LE and I don't make those decisions.

This case is very frustrating. Abductions like this happened in the 80s when I was growing up, but video cameras are everywhere now. How could they not have identified a suspect vehicle by now?

It's developed. However, the apartment complex does not have security cameras. We don't have traffic cameras at intersections in San Antonio. (We have sensors which look like cameras, but they are sensors for changing lights)

I'm pretty sure USAA has outward facing cameras, but I have not heard anything about them. (Maybe USAA didn't want to go on record or speak to the media. They have lot of security and they keep it locked and guarded)

Businesses have cameras, but most face inward and not toward the traffic.

I was just looking at Jason Landry's case. There is no video evidence of him driving from San Marcos nor is there video evidence of him driving through Luling. His route and locations were obtained via cell phone carrier. So, with all the cameras out there, there aren't as many as we think are out there.

All children are beautiful, but Lina is exceptionally beautiful. All the photos show her in adorable outfits, so well taken care of, cheerful and smiling.
I pray she is found soon. God Bless this sweet angel.

I know the odds are against this being a stranger abduction, but I have felt all along that is exactly what it is. Something seems different with this missing child, and I even wonder if it’s not a typical pedo involved but maybe even a woman? A woman who doesn’t have a child or lost a child and sought out the “perfect” girl to take for her own? Maybe I’m just being hopeful, because that would probably be the best case stranger abduction, but just thinking how the person who took her in such a tight time frame with others so close must have appeared trustworthy and safe. Women are less threatening to little kids than men. Also because Lina is such a beautiful child, dressed so fancy—I can see a disturbed woman wanting a girl for her own might look for a girl just like Lina…

October 2020 -- 3 yr old Kamille (Cupcake) McKinney was abducted during a birthday party by a male and female team. She was also last seen playing with other children. Both suspects are being charged with her murder.
