Friends of a missing Far East Dallas woman had a vigil Friday night, two months after she disappeared.

Nearly 70 people gathered in front of the home that Lisa Stone, 51, owned on a quiet cul-de-sac in the 3300 block of Truxillo Street. They wore maroon shirts emblazoned with "Looking for Lisa Stone" on the back and lighted candles in her memory.

Henry has declined to comment on Stone's disappearance.

"We're not making any progress but trying to contact more people who know her," Dallas police Sgt. Gene Reyes said. "Somebody out there knows what happened. We just need them to call us. It's been very frustrating."

It was Dallas police who asked the friends not to erect a billboard with Lisa's information for fear it would create too many false leads! It was Dallas police who didn't want Tim Miller's assistance... And now to say "we're not making any progress"? I wonder why? Oh but it was also Dallas police who initially closed the missing person case until the friends started raising heck until they reopened it. I'm not trying to bash DPD here but something just isn't adding up in my opinion.

I just can't believe that this poor lady hasn't been found! It's as plain as the nose on my face who had something to do with this. The LE waited too long to search the residence. Such a shame!

The only thing new was that DPD upgraded Lisa to endangered missing. Also, the friends have found proof of Henry's new gf.

I just have to say that Henry has alot of nerve staying in that house that Lisa inherited from the death of her brother. She lets the house be trashed with cat feces that she doesn't clean up* and yet, she throws out Lisa's birth certificate and mementos.

*When police entered the home, they found it flea-ridden and covered in feces from more than two dozen alley cats living there with Henry. Animal control officers seized the cats as well as two dogs.

I think I read on facebook she moved out and was staying with her mother. I don't think she could take the pressure of the prayer vigils right in front of the home.

"It is not about sexuality that is important to most people who care, it is what we do for our community and our family, our friends and just human compassion for others that matter in the world we live in daily." - Lisa Stone

Whatever happened to Lisa Stone? Lisa stopped answering her cell phone, her emails and posting on Facebook on June 4th, two months ago yesterday. June 4th is a familiar date to me. I found Lisa's case fascinating, while watching a segment on Jane Velez- Mitchell. I grew up in Dallas and felt as if I knew Lisa, even though I probably never did.

Here is a link to WS thread Dateline wants your stories

Dateline Wants Your Stories. - Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community

I wonder if they would be interested in Lisa's story. We KNOW she didn't just walk away! DPD isn't going to do anything unless evidence or location tip is brought to their attention.

Lisa Stone deserves justice
