Just read the doorbell ringer was the deceased’s g/f. She is not being identified b/c she is a victim of family violence. Wow! This is a happy ending for this poor woman.

IMO he had her restrained and was abusing her, she escaped and looked for help, and the boyfriend knew with that video being everywhere that the jig was up for him. She wasn't at the scene which means she might have already relocated to her family's house and wasn't coming back...so knowing all of this, he decides to commit suicide.

Update: MCTXSheriff Investigation of Suspicious Incident in Montgomery Texas (Doorbell Video)

On August 28th 2018 at about 11 a.m. the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office received a welfare check call in the 18400 block of Sunrise Pines in the Sunrise Ranch subdivision. Deputies received information a male made suicidal comments. When deputies arrived on scene they could not get an answer at the door and due to the circumstances made forced entry into the home. A man was found deceased inside the home. The male was identified as a 49 year old white male. They preliminary cause of death is believed to be a single gunshot wound. The deceased's girlfriend a 32 year old white female, who was not on scene when deputies arrived, is confirmed to be the female in the doorbell ring video. Due to the female's status as a family violence victim, the female's identity can not be released at this time. The female is confirmed to be safe and with family. The investigation will continue.

The female that we have all been looking for has been identified and is safe. She is currently outside Montgomery County and our investigators will be meeting with her to continue the investigation.

I'm not really surprised. She didn't look to be in any distress. She just looked lost and confused. I have seen these type of videos before and usually they turn out to be nothing.

It doesn’t sound like she was safe at the time, though. The PIO stated that she was a DV victim.

depends how long he was holding her and what his deal is. Their not going to release her name.

I'm so relieved that she's safe! I don't know what I was expecting, but I don't think it was this. Wondering about the circumstances here. Did I hear that LEO say they think she was from Dallas? That's what it sounded like to me.

Yeah, he said they only had one side of the story. But with the note, I'm wondering which side he's talking about. Because he also said they'd talked to the girl on the phone. I want to know what the note said and what was going on there because I am snoopy.
