Hello everyone. I'm new around here. I've learned about LEK case some days ago and I've red already a lot of forum pages, on websleuths and at many other websites.

I'd like to share some of my findings, please, if someone already talked about this I beg you pardon.

Once again I'm alluding FLEK's Resume. I've made an online research for information based on her email and both phone numbers and I got some strange info:

As I'm new I don't know if it's allowed to write here the info I have (some names and addresses). So I'll talk a little generally.

By her phone number I found info of a Lori C. (I have the full last name). Arbor Mill Bedford, TX... but also from a couple more women in Grapevine and Euless, both cities in TX, respectively.

Her mobile number, (T-Mobile) doesn't appear to have whatsapp, not sure about viber.

Also, I'd like to share a couple of pictures I made, from her Idaho Id. To see her from another angle. Of course the picture of that Id is not as good to make a good reconstruction, but will give you an idea.

And a question: Do we know where's that place where someone saw her working as an exotic dancer yet?

Thank you!

These are wonderful. Thank you!

Yes her nose does look bigger there. In fact she looks totally different to all the ID photos, wouldn't have thought it was the same person. I guess this is why we ca't rule ayone in or out on looks alone....

I wish her family would share more pictures of her. When I blow the picture up really big it looks like her nose slopes inward quite a bit with a fine point, but it is hard to tell.

Just a thought. Those pics of Lori are interesting. Maybe she was nun!

  • #945
So I was looking again at her email address we found awhile back. I JUST noticed it's her initials backwards.. Did we discuss that? ( what does the W stand for!!!!!)

Let's suppose she put a link to her past in her email. Something only she would know. Kennedy - Erika - "Wanda" or "Windy" or Windsong" - Lori ......KEWL.

  • #946
A woman with self-esteem issues may also have simply used the "W". For the word Wonderful!

Just FYI: Windy AKA Windsong is a man.

For what it's worth, after looking at this rendering, I am convinced she was wearing a flipper ( fake teeth) in her pictures.

Who's that on the picture with the child?

I do not feel like I am getting any closer to finding out who LEK is than I was when I first read this story lol. So many questions and not nearly enough answers.

You're not the only one. If you look at the names of posters on the threads over the last few years, you'll notice a lot of people have started looking at this with a lot of energy only to burn out in a couple dozen months. Most of the original batch of information has been picked over thoroughly, & when you consider how excited we all were at KdB admitting he had been acquainted with LEK you can see how little we have to work with.

I wish I was as good at sleuthing as the rest of you guys! Personally I dont think she was ever reported missing, so I think the only way she would be identified is if there was a DNA match in ancestry (if her daughter submits DNA) or if someone from her past comes forward. But I'll never give up hope that someone here can crack the case :)

Anything my sleuthing turned up was simply due to having the time & a few hints of where to look.

One thing I wanted to do -- but I haven't had either the block of time to do it in, or the ability to be disciplined in my work habits -- is to organize all the known facts about LEK. Take, for example, the story that during family gatherings she would sneak away & nap: I know I saw that somewhere, but I don't remember where. It might be a reliable source, or just some of the cruft that's beginning to accumulate around this case. Having a list of all of these facts with where they were stated would prevent us from going over the same ground again & again, & allow people new to this case a quicker way to get up to speed. (And maybe see connections others have missed.)

That's a fairly straightforward task that would help everyone, & doesn't require sleuthing skills. Just a good tolerance for drugery & attention to detail -- both of which I suck at.

But you mention the two most likely ways LEK's birth name will be found: a DNA match, or if someone from her past recognizes her. Far less likely is if someone manages to match LEK to a missing person -- but it still might work, just due to dumb luck & if enough matches are proposed sheer brute force will eventually accomplish it. (By "eventually", I mean decades or centuries.) Moreover, creating a profile of LEK would improve the odds of all of these succeeding: it's far easier for someone to recognize a person thru a personality, picture, & (admittedly fake) name, than simply a picture & name.

Just browsing the internet and came across this - good summary / reminder of the case

http://www.pressreader.com/usa/the-dallas-morning-news/20130707/281724087141670

That seems to be nothing more than a copy of the original Seattle Times article with the reporter's name stripped off, & reformatted into multiple columns.

So the Dallas Morning News published a copy of the article? And no one who read the article recognized her, despite the fact she lived & worked in the area for over 10 years?

Yes, I researched this case for years and only recently joined here. I go through phases of getting really into a theory but then getting frustrated and abandoning the case for a while (only to come back weeks later lol). After all these years only so few new details have emerged, it's insane to me how not a single (proven to be legit) soul has come forward with info.

You read my mind about the case facts. I was literally thinking that to myself this morning. I think a lot of info gets tangled up and it's hard to keep track of what is "true", what's false, and what's rumor. I too wish I had the diligence to do something like that but I am not sure I would even know where to start at this point. I don't really keep notes the way a lot of others do. I usually keep quiet around here so I don't derail everyone else's theories but I've been trying to contribute more lately.

If nothing else, the case is interesting and there's been some great discussions.

I believe the author is someone who has just read a bit on the story and transposed some details.

I saw it last night. Horrible plagerism, or just some other articles stuck together.

New article on the story: sorry don't know how to hyperlink on cellphone!

Just off on a tangent but since you're all into ID'ing Lori we have a couple of really interesting ID unknown cases here in the UK if you need a breather from this one. Could do with some more hands on deck and you are all awesome at this!

One is a man who seems to have poisoned himself on a hill in the north of England, having travelled up from London. Lots of clues suggesting he might not be British hence no-one has claimed him.

Another is a man dubbed Roger Curry, who is alive but elderly and does not know who he is, but he has a North American accent. He was found abandoned on a country lane here last year and nobody has come forward with his identity yet. Weird. I do wonder how far the story has got though, I think it needs to go more transatlantic.

Any assistance for your friends over the pond would be greatly appreciated! :loveyou:

I was thinking that too. Plus she wasn't "showing them off" with her clothing. The higher necklines she preferred makes it look like her breasts are lower. I think it would interesting to know who she put as emergency contact on the surgery forms but I agree-- arguing about whether she looks like she had breast implants is a little silly and won't help us identify her.
That's my point of it. The information on her file. Emergency contact, address, etc.

Respectfully snipped:

We read about shredded papers with her writings on them and maybe even documents.
.........
I'm starting to believe she was saved from something.

I'm wondering about those bags of shredded documents. Did they look through them thoroughly? Any clue at all about what they were? What happened to them? The feds have technology to piece that stuff together somewhat.

And I'm beginning to agree that she was being saved from something. Her BST picture has the look of "I'm free!".

I've been thinking crowns, caps, veneers, false teeth, etc. She seems to have that perfect, almost unnatural thing going on there.

I would certainly try my damndest (damnedest?) to piece that shredded paper together. This case is driving me nuts so thoughts are with those of you who have put so much time and effort into it!!

I was also thinking about another picture, the ID where she's Becky Sue Turner. That picture stands out, she was over the moon in it. I think it's her happiest picture of the lot we know. Makes me wonder if she was ecstatic about her identity theft running so smooth, the prospect of a new beginning or something else in her personal life bringing her joy in that moment..

I feel there is something to this. Just my 2 cents but most of my license photos indicate my mood at the time (I don't have a face for poker games lol.)

Also I know this is tacky of me to keep mentioning drugs in relation to FLEK but I have met a couple (former) hard core cokeheads & they both lived in Texas partially to be in proximity to cheap available cocaine. It could be that she was doing some right when that picture was taken & the face she wore that day was her "euphoria" face.
On the same token, maybe her past addiction had come to light & was one of the reasons for friction with her husband. Frankly a lot of prominent conservative families shy away from letting an ex-addict marry into a family.

Keep in mind a lot of Bipolar Disorder sufferers fall into abusing coke or meth to self-medicate themselves (because trust me, the pharmacy drugs for Bipolar 1 are so gross/ruinious that a coke habit seems preferable to some people over staying on prescription drugs.)

Just some ideas. I don't mean to offend. My years in the bar business have allowed me to see things about people that are usually hidden during the day, if you know what I mean....
