I knew a girl locally that tried something similar but had to eventually go to the hospital. She was addicted to meth and a few other things and knew the child would be taken away from her so she first tried hiding the pregnancy (and got little to no prenatal care). Then when it was obvious to her family she lied to them and said she was getting help with her addiction. It is amazing the amount of magical thinking that goes on with some people. When her water broke she didn’t call anyone and tried to have the child by herself. Yeah it didn’t work. She finally called 911. Her baby was taken because it was born addicted to several drugs. This was not this girls first child either.

Babies have to be weaned off medically from the drugs that are in their system. If they had this child at home chances are it was in hard core withdrawal pretty soon after it was born. If they tried to give it something to stop withdrawal chances are they overdosed it. If they didn’t chances are withdrawal could have killed it. Either way that child needed medical care and they are totally negligent. In one of the above MSM posts it says someone saw the mother feeding the child. Her breast milk would have contained drugs as well.

This is all MOO and speculaction.

The part she said about taking the baby to see the dolphins is a cause of concern for me. Could she have possibly put the baby in the water and left it there?
