I'm not a medical professional but I have made several comments about this, as have others.
I do believe her symptoms could have been related to a previous injury, or several injuries to the head.

The fact that BB denied that she had the symptoms of vomiting blood and lethargy tell me that she was trying to hide something.

Doctors said that when they opened up her scalp, the blood looked old, indicating an older injury. I don't remember anything about fractures, though, in terms of what was reported.

All I know is that a doctor said there was no way the injury could have happened the way BB described, (at least that particular injury) and that is enough proof for me.

I still believe that Maleah was being abused consistently and habitually over a long period of time and that BB knew about it.

She was probably in great need of medical attention on Monday when supposedly BB asked Maleah's father to take her to the doctor and then told him that DV would take her.

She is not only responsible for whatever happened that caused her death, but from what it sounds, for obstructing or hindering the investigation by covering and withholding information.
Imo
In a healthy 3 year old, there would be obvious healing in a fracture that was a few weeks old vs one a few days. If she had other issues, like being nutrient deficient, it would not heal as fast. KIds bones are still growing and the cells that make bone are very active and work to repair breaks much faster than adults.

Refresh my memory, did she actually have a skull fracture? I seem to recall she had increased cranial pressure and that was why part of the skull was removed. If the brain swells, or the cerebrospinal fluid isn’t able to properly circulate, the brain can press against the skull and cause serious damage. If medications can’t relieve the pressure, the only treatment is to remove part of the skull until the swelling subsides, then replace it.

Moo is that she suffered several instances of head trauma that didn’t heal before the next one was inflicted. I think if there was just one injury on July 10, the swelling would have happened much sooner than August.

Not a medical professional but a nursing student.moo

This will be more lies and CYA, but the more she talks, the greater the evidence LE has. Loose lips sink ships. Keep blabbing BB, talk yourself right into charges.

Yep. Accompanied with fake no-tears and head shaking and bobbing. Her body language should be interesting to watch, IMO.

A video not containing BB. Maybe it will come out later this evening

City Hall to light up pink for Sunday's 'Walk with Maleah'

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Craig Davis, Maleah Davis' biological father, called Maleah his love and his heart.

"It's been a whole month but it feels like it all happened today. It's so painful."

He told ABC13 Eyewitness News he can hardly find the words to express his pain.

The remains of a child found last week in Arkansas were confirmed as those of Maleah by the medical examiner Monday.

Her family mourns and the city, along with family friends, prepare to honor Maleah this week.

"It's heartless, it's completely heartless. I just can't imagine what Brittany and Craig are going through at this time, their emotions," said Sheila Smith, friend of Maleah's family.

Smith connected to Maleah's story when she learned about it and grew close to the girl's family. She is working with them to plan an event they hope will be larger than life.

"That's pretty much what I'm trying to do, just justice for her to say that, 'Hey baby, we got you, we support you,'" said Smith.

"Walk with Maleah" is what Smith is calling the event.

I am hoping they ask her some real questions. Like the status of her relationship to DV and how she feels about him considering he killed her daughter.

According to BB's step sister, DV text exchange with mistress that BB discovered and allegedly fought about all day up until she boarded her flight to Mass, were exchanged during the time period BB visited her dad in the hospital--just prior to his death.

Allegedly, BB confided she had to wait to take any action because DV was the bread winner, and took care of the family. -- BB pretty much had him on a pedestal...

(Sister's 5/29 phone interview with ytube blogger).
Poor Maleah was low dog on the totem pole. If she wanted DV so desperately over her own children she should have given them up,before one got sacrificed. Ironic he took up with a yet to be revealed 'mistress'. I have feeling this will be a e tu Brut moment for BB. She'll have only herself to blame.

I'm trying so hard not to get annoyed when I read things like this. I know BB has not been named a POI or has been charged, but no matter how hard I try, I cannot gather sympathy for her. Not an ounce. She KNEW she was being hurt and didn't stand up for her baby. In my book, she does not deserve sympathy or people to feel sad for her. The only person who should be getting the sympathy is the tiny baby girl that was murdered. Not the mother who let her child die.
Sorry, off my soap box, lol.

Edit to finish my thought...
I don't fell bad for bio father either, tbh. He had to have know, or at least suspected. Or wasn't around enough to see the signs. I know I'm being kinda harsh, but they both IMO deserve blame also (obviously BB wayyyy more than CD, because she knew and covered it up all for the sake of keeping a man)

Her answers will be full of lies... I want her to answer about the last time she talked with MD, why she didn't talk with MD while she was away. Why did she tell QX about the abuse from DV and didn't stop it. Imo, She won't tell the truth to anything!! I also want to know if she feels responsible!!

I'm asking not for general reasons, but for specific reasons.

The answers to my questions come into play in terms of who was with that child on the dates in question back in July of last year. As in, if the skull fracture appears to be in a healing stage, it and the chronic hematoma may be correlated to the July 10 ER visit. And if the July 10 symptoms cannot be delayed onset, but can only be early onset, then it's important to look at who was with the child and when that day and the day before. The family was living with BB2 at the time, and she should be able to recount events of that day and the day before in relation to the ER visit. As in, was there ever a time during those two days that Maleah was with both DV and BB when BB2 was not present? Or was DV's work schedule such that BB2 left the home after he did and arrived back before he got home (he was working in Rosharon at the time)?

July 10th was a weekday.
July 28th was a Sunday and BB2 was in Louisiana.

I think I remember this being addressed by BB2. I’ll go back and look at the video but I think it was in the early one at the first search where she took over talking. She said she she was at work and if memory serves B.B. called and BB2 told her to take Maleah to hospital.

Edited to add...

I’m wrong according to pommymommy’s timeline. . The days BB2 told her to call were July 28, and 8-1.

Barf.

How about you just send a message about your beautiful daughter, and shut it about the criticism, since your beautiful daughter should be a million times MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE CRITICISM????

I'm so over this chick.

Also,

-What was 'wrong' with MD on Monday, April 29th?
-Did anyone take her to the doctor?
-If MD wan't going to daycare that week, was there an arrangement to care for her at home?
-What do you think happened to MD while you were gone?
-Do you think DV should be charged with death penalty?

I was wondering if we would see more of that weird bouncing, look I'm crying nonsense too. But she almost looks... satisfied in this picture and that creeps me out more than the theatrics.

ETA - I know this photo is one 100th of a second in time and I shouldn't read the smugness in it that I see. But I do.

Why weren't you there when her remains were flown in?
What do you have to say about QX's charges against you?
Why did you lie to the hospital about Maleah's medical history?
