I wonder just how many miles were put on that car between the time they bought it until then. That is a lot in a miles in roundtrip.

I don't even like hard liquor, but I think I need a drink.

Wow, an order prohibiting QX from visting DV at the jail was filed after he left the visit this morning.

Did anyone else hear on this live coverage about the crime scene tape and tip of garbage bag found by mowing company? In Fulton, they moved their search 12
Miles south awhile ago? Everything’s going so fast I’m sorry if this has been discussed!

I didn't follow this case like you guys, so this is my first impression of him. And I like him.

He's had a radical past when he was young that included some anti-semitic statements and being a Black Panther. Many people are offended by both. (I am by the anti-semitism but not by the Black Panther stuff).

But he came across in this case early on, to many of us, as wanting to hype himself, and get attention. he also made statements about BB being a "good woman" that repulsed me. But I guess that was all part of his strategy.

And I did not know the extent of his his past involvement in helping solve these cases. He seems all about the kids.

Wow, that’s interesting. Hmmm.

If it was an accident, he would have reported the body's location earlier, so he could prove that. But he waited long enough, he hopes, that there won't be any ugly forensics to show the real story, imo.
Maybe by "accident" he means he didn't mean to kill her while he was beating up on her. Imo

I'm still holding back....can't get the first interview out of my mind, where he exonerated BB....bad bad judgement call in my book.

I have a couple of theories about that. either he didn't know at that point (not enough conversations with her), or he suspected and was trying to get her to trust him. MOO

Regardless, if he was the key point to finding and bringing Maleah home, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

Yes. It looks like they found her. Three days ago mowers in Fulton off the 30, ran over a bag that had blood on it and smelled bad. The supervisor told them to leave it.
that DV had confessed to dumping the body off the 30, relatively nearby, they revisited that bag and called the authorities.

I keep thinking about the LE that went to Wisconsin to interview Chris Watts. I heard a lot of criticism of them for being so friendly and compassionate towards him.
Which of course was done to keep his stupid mouth flapping. And it worked a charm.

I think we are seeing a similar thing here, just not as immediately obvious.

I feel like we would have heard by now if it was indeed animal remains... imo
I feel that Sheriff knows it's Maleah because he said they wouldn't be returning to the prior exit after what they had found.

QX was never served court order prohibiting him from contacting DV.

QX states if served with no contact order, he would have complied.

KHOU confirming that court order was drafted AFTER QX met with DV.

ETA: I believe this order was drafted by DV's new public defender that was just appointed.

MOO

Did I hear that right, DV attorney's filed a motion w/no contact with QX. It was filed too late, Right after QX left the jail talking with DV..... Timing is a bitc*

It rubbed me the wrong way too. Yuck. But TM said today in an interview that he's a "genius" and a "miracle worker" in these case and knows how to make these people "comfortable" so they talk.

Interesting.....
---------------------------

Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg said prosecutors continue to work with police to solve the case.

"Let's let search teams do what search teams do," Ogg said in a written statement. "We have spoken with the defendant's lawyer and there is no agreement. We continue to work with the Houston Police Department to bring justice for Maleah Davis."

Remains found near search scene for Maleah Davis in Arkansas, officials say

The best way to get someone to trust you and open up is to make them believe you are on their side and support them 100%. It's shady but that's what he did.
