Not sure if this has been posted yet, but here is an interview just posted on fb with QX and Fox26 from the last hour, about how he got the confession. QX says DV was a good parent to the kids ("a mother and a father"), when BB was not, that he took care of them all, but that he snapped when they got into a fight over his MISTRESS! He also said that DV called him there to discuss and clear up how he was being portrayed by the media. My goodness...this all sounds like the truth, but who knows. I hope they found Maleah today. :(

Oh! I got excited for a moment thinking you were reporting news!!!

I am certain he will be charged with murder. I'm praying she will be charged with something serious.

Here's child endangerment in TX:

(a) In this section, “abandon” means to leave a child in any place without providing reasonable and necessary care for the child, under circumstances under which no reasonable, similarly situated adult would leave a child of that age and ability.

(b) A person commits an offense if, having custody, care, or control of a child younger than 15 years, he intentionally abandons the child in any place under circumstances that expose the child to an unreasonable risk of harm.

(c) A person commits an offense if he intentionally, knowingly, recklessly, or with criminal negligence, by act or omission, engages in conduct that places a child younger than 15 years in imminent danger of death, bodily injury, or physical or mental impairment

(e) An offense under Subsection (b) is a felony of the second degree if the actor abandons the child under circumstances that a reasonable person would believe would place the child in imminent danger of death, bodily injury, or physical or mental impairment.

(f) An offense under Subsection (c) is a state jail felony.
Texas Penal Code - PENAL § 22.041 | FindLaw

Although the term "abandonment" clearly is geared more toward leaving a child alone or without adult care, it can also go, IMO, to leaving a kid with a drugged out person, or with an abuser. So subsections (a) (b) may apply. Subsection (c ) definitely does, IMO.

But I think she would be charged with (c) and face only state jail felony time. No more than two years.

She also likely faces the charge of injury to a child by omission:

(a) A person commits an offense if he intentionally, knowingly, recklessly, or with criminal negligence, by act or intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly by omission, causes to a child, elderly individual, or disabled individual:

(1) serious bodily injury;

(2) serious mental deficiency, impairment, or injury;  or

(3) bodily injury.

(e) An offense under Subsection (a)(1) or (2) or (a-1)(1) or (2) is a felony of the first degree when the conduct is committed intentionally or knowingly.  When the conduct is engaged in recklessly, the offense is a felony of the second degree.
Texas Penal Code - PENAL § 22.04 | FindLaw

I think she would face a second degree felony for recklessly by omission (failing to protect Maleah from that monster), causing injury to Maleah. 2-20 years in prison.

I am hoping for that and at least ten years.
BB in prison for at least ten years! That would be great! Thank you Gitana!
I just want to hug everyone on this forum today. A lot of mysteries solved and justice for our sweet Maleah is closer.
(((Sending virtual hugs to everyone)))

If so, I hope they can still get DNA from under her fingernails.
I think the finger nails begin to fall off after two weeks on a dead body.
Sorry to be so graphic, but I remember that from reading about decomposition on another thread.
If I remember correctly after a month there would not be much left to test, but I guess you never know. Considering the climate and insect activity I would guess not. Imo

I'm still holding back....can't get the first interview out of my mind, where he exonerated BB....bad bad judgement call in my book.
I think he had to gain her trust so she would talk. JMO

The motion for a court order is at the request of DVs lawyer.

I am aware. No LE agency or prosecution would ever file such a thing. They want perps to talk.

My comment stands. The order was granted with no authority cited for it.

Why would you say that about a man that has dedicated his life to finding missing people? And his daughter a murder victim. If he gets donations then that would be great.
Or are you talking about the black panther?
I’m replying to my post. I understand now, poster wasn’t talking about TM. My mistake.

You would think, at the very least that even if they weren't able to avoid it, that the 'foul smell' would raise some alarms and someone would call the authorities.
Someone could have thought it was a dog or some pet of some kind that had died. But you would think someone would have at least called it in. People call the cops for the most asinine things and this wouldn’t have been odd to call in.

Yes. I agree she had a lot to do with this. At the least, allowing it to happen, so she could keep her man.
More worried about dirty pics sent to someone else than Maleah being hurt.
MOO

What I heard was he was very clear that although DV said it was an accident, QX did not believe it was. That when you abuse a child and they die, it's not an "accident".

And QX is still out there flapping his gums for his fifteen minutes. He needs to shut up and let LE work this case not keep him patting himself on the back.

I am having difficulty getting the live feed to play. Anything pertinent? I am going to try on my computer.

Do we know for sure that this is her body in the bag? Otherwise, might the black box up there saying that it’s her be a bit premature?

They have not identified the body yet, as far as I know. Imo

I don't think they have confirmed yet, but it's a good bet.

Someone correct me if I am wrong.
