Found Deceased TX - Marisela Botello, 23, visiting Dallas from Seattle, 5 Oct 2020 *arrest*

I have a bad feeling this was some kind of ritualistic killing.
That or they had trafficking plans of some sort, and Marisela fought back too much.
The paralegal and law connections/expertise might be of use in nefarious schemes. imo
That woman Ahmed gives me the creeps.
So sensless.

I'm getting the feeling Ms. Marano dropped Dykes off in PA then continued on to NY to find that Audi a new home.

Ugh, yes, I also get major creepy vibes from LA/LD. And CB is no better, what with his neck tattoos. So awful that poor Marisela's final moments were with these monsters.

In terms of motive, I'm still trying to understand the relationship between the three suspects. If CB and LD were boyfriend and girlfriend, then why did CB bring Marisela back from the bar to their shared home? What exactly did they do to her?

I also wonder if they were involved in trafficking, and a pretty young out-of-towner like Marisela presented an easy target, but something went wrong with their plans and the girl ended up dead.

Not enough words for the Botello family who have already been suffering all this time.

Mind can't grapple the whole weird connection perhaps poly thing gone wrong.

All I'll remember is the beautiful girl on an anticipated trip, and wanting to go have fun in her pretty dress. Then her family devastated all this time looking for her.

Have you guys even figured out the relationship of the two women? For the one to be listed as Dykes (Beltran) usually indicates Dykes is their current name, typically by marriage which would lead me to believe she is his mother and the other Beltran is a sister or cousin.

The first scenario that jumps to my mind is that it was a simple bar hookup gone very wrong that the perpetrator's family helped him conceal. If Marisela had been trying to fit in a quick low key romantic connection, the night before she left would have been a logical time to seek it. It's not an unusual mood to be in after seeing an ex. As for the motive for the crime, I couldn't speculate. It may never completely be revealed.

I see Lisa Mariano is listed as white in this article while the Beltrans listed as latin so that might indicate she is not a close relative or it might just be different police reporting standards in Florida vs Texas?

So according to my calculations when they married in 1990, Lisa would have been 18 or 19 and Bill would have been 53.
These suspects certainly seem to be some interesting characters.

Thanks for the correction. I'm actually terrible with names and Lisa and Nina are similar enough to my brain it's no surprise I would mix them up.

I haven't found any explanation yet of the relationship between the 3 other than Lisa Dykes aka Beltran aka Ahmed and the original want to locate Beltran we knew about, shared the house in Mesquite - which was mentioned on that arrest warrant attached to that cbs article.
Just now I found that apparently Marano aka Oliver aka Beltran is a lawyer! The name and address on this profile match the arrest affidavit. Looks like she does (did) mostly personal injury, some family and some immigration.

this is my thought. occam's razor.

nina appears latina of some type, lisa appears white, and beltran appears possibly mixed race of black or latino of some time, FWIW. i cant figure out their connection either.
