Papaw is my grandfather (mom's dad)... I call Becca just... My Becca. My kiddos call her Mimi. So it gets confusing for people outside of the family. Easier to just say "his wife" for the purposes of this situation. She's his second wife, but they were married before I was born (they married in 1980).

No problems with the grands or great-grands that I'm aware of. That doesn't exclude the possibility, but none are being bandied about at this time within the family as a possibility, that I'm aware of.

Did she have children prior to the marriage with your Papaw?

I wonder how much blood was found in the shed. A lot, a little bit? Is there a sink in the shed where he could have washed up?

Not so much desolute as it is typical rural Texas living. Quite a bit of traffic on this road. One of the largest employers in the area is just about 5 miles North on this road.L-3 Communications. I used to live one road over on FM 2947.A good mixture of really nice brick homes and land with less expensive doublewides. The closer you get to the lake the seedier it gets. Except the Hideaway Lake area is really nice and expensive. Lots of woods in this area.

That's strange, the man Pmerle00 referred to that also disappeared from Greenville, Matt Hallman was an executive at L3 Communications.

Media reports say a small amount. But it's also described as a trail. I wonder also how much and where.

One of our new posters who is currently getting verified, is MC' s granddaughter. She said the blood was inside the shed but not outside of the shed.

His wife was not home when he went missing. She was at work, and came home to an empty, locked and dark house and shop. Enlisted help from their neighbor to check the land and then called 911 after not being able to find him.

Do you know what time she arrived home?

I worked there way back in the day when it was still Raytheon Systems. L3 took over shortly before I left. Greenville isn't a large city by any means. It's crazy that one man disappears, much less two!

I wonder if it was so obvious that his wife saw it and called 911. If my husband were not at home and it wasn't immediately obvious where he was I would not worry immediately. Guys piddle around with stuff, might be at a neighbor's. But if she opened the shop and saw blood I can see being worried.

But how did she get in? MC left them in the shop. Unless she had another key but the shed was dark and locked up.

Well it's not like MC was associated with L3. But it is a large nearby employer.

I hope Pmerle00 can answer whether she had another key. Surely she did. But perhaps if she didn't she just felt strongly he must be in there and unable to open the door so she called 911.

I mean from Greenville area. Not L3 specifically. And yes, it's the largest employer in the area. Mr. Hall disappeared in 2011, however. I was thinking it was recently.

After seeing this video and the wooded area, it seems it would have been easy for someone to hide and see him go from the house into the shop and follow behind. Or maybe he had worked in the shop earlier and he inadvertently left it unlocked when he went to Wal-Mart and someone was waiting when he came back.

Strange that the door was locked behind him/them though

IMO

Welcome Pmerle- I am so glad you joined us here. These threads/cases get a lot more attention when we have a family member/acquaintance here to help us out so we welcome your input.

Michael just looks to me like a friendly teddy bear kind of a guy, I guess that's why his case has captured my attention and I am drawn to his disappearance. Could you tell us about his lifestyle, typical day, likes, dislikes? Maybe that info will give us a bit more info. How is his wife holding up?

Once again, glad to have you with us. We all want to help bring him home asap.

(And please understand that you don't have to answer any questions that you are uncomfortable with.)
