The son is the one I am referring to. I saw the picture on Becca's phone. The sting could very well have been on his lip, but to me, one of his eyes was puffier than usual - NOT bruised or anything like that. His lip could have been swollen as well and I just didn't notice. I didn't bring this up to cause suspicion. The question was asked about any marks or scratches, and I thought it was a great question that should be answered. I answered honestly - didn't realize it would cause a stir!

No worries. I'm sure you realize by now we analyze everything to death. LOL
I appreciate you helping us help you find Papaw. I think we are 'stuck' if LE won't let other agencies in. It makes one wonder why. Do they have a tight grip and are just waiting to put it all together or are they failing miserably and don't want the outside world to see that? Or are they covering things up and hoping this goes away?

It doesn't exist now. Not one single time since his disappearance has she asked to see him.

I was told, by Justin and by Becca both, that Justin's son was to come over and spend the night/weekend at some point after Papaw's disappearance. I don't think that actually happened, but it had been planned at some point. I was told also that she has called him (her grandson) and/or he has called her from his phone. I will try to see if I can view records to confirm that phone calls or texts have taken place directly between them and report back.

I would think, now that there is a restraining order in place, that doing something like just seeing her grandson would be very difficult.

She made an attempt to be apart of JC's brothers kids life but that's to be expected since JC's entirely life has always been but before his brother.

I would ask that everyone consider this a subjective opinion... and not fact. Having grown up with these boys and witnessed how they were treated myself - it was firm but fair with BOTH of them.

At one point in time, many siblings might say that they feel their brother/sister's needs were put before theirs - that doesn't make it true.

And with 4 kids myself, I can tell you that parenting one doesn't mean the other is parented the same way - one of my kids needs attention, the other just someone to pretend to listen to endless prattling, the other needs to be left to their own devices, and still the other needs to be super active to be happy. One can have an occasional soft drink without being affected, the other can't even have unsweet tea or he bounces off the walls. One needs strict and firm rules and oversight, the other has shown they can be trusted with a bit more freedom at this point.

So, take this comment as you will, but put it in perspective please.

JC was the last to be adopted. BC missed JC's senior football night. Where the parent took the rose. His best friends parents took the rose so he wouldn't be embarrassed. But he was. If it was his brother that wouldn't have happened!

John was adopted as a baby, Justin was not adopted until he was older (4 or 5??? I can't remember the age). That does NOT mean that Papaw and Becca wouldn't have LOVED to adopt Justin sooner, but only that he wasn't placed for adoption for them to answer the heart-call to welcome him to the family.

I can't speak to the senior football night. That's very sad and my heart hurts that this happened.

I am just curious. It would appear that church was a large part of MC's life. Its been stated several times that he attended church and was in a gospel band. Did BC also attend church and do you know if she still does?

They attend church together. I will try to find out if she has been going regularly since Papaw disappeared. She has stated to me that she is in counseling with their pastor, so I would assume that means she has also been going to church - but you know what happens when you assume!

Analyze away!!!!!!!!!! That's why I'm here. Just sometimes I answer so many in a row that I am not clear. Completely understand how y'all took it - and we are HERE to sleuth, right?! I hope I cleared it up enough.

As for HCSO... idk. I hope they are just tight-lipped and working furiously behind the scenes and have so many answers that they just need to put it all together in a case before taking action.........................

I'm sure y'all have seen this one on FB. It's an oil painting of my Papaw. I believe it was done right when he was retiring in 2008! I have been told the painter came out many times to take photos of the smallest details - his hands, his eyes...

Thank you so much for coming back. I have been particularly sad for PaPaw today, realizing that he has been missing for 26 weeks as of today, and six months in just two days ... .

Do you think there is any way Becca could perhaps do an interview with a local station or make a public plea for PaPaw's return on BPH? Basically anything to bring more attention to her husband's disappearance?

Also, only if you feel comfortable sharing: Has Becca shared with you what prompted her to move? Unless she is renting the house out or putting it on the market very soon, this doesn't make much financial sense to me.

Still praying for you and your loved ones every day :candle:.

These are all from Christmas 2016 - Papaw is always Santa's helper, handing out the presents to the grandkids and great-grandkids. He laughs with them - on the floor - opening packages - inserting batteries... Always.

This picture... Is my youngest. Eating ice cream. That Papaw (in the background, red FD shirt) gave him. He asked me - "can he have some ice cream?" I said yes "a LITTLE bit" because my kid is energetic enough without sugar. Next thing I know, he's got a bowl FULL of ice cream - and Papaw is just laughing and laughing when I look over at him. One happy kid, one mischievous Papaw, one mom who remembers him doing the same for her so she can't even say anything about it. :-D

Find it hard to believe that an "old man" would be chasing after kids? These are from 2013 - that's my husband and Papaw chasing, capturing and wrestling the grandkids and great-grandkids. Again - laughing all the time. <3

I have SO many sweet pictures of Papaw and my kids. This is right after he was born - I think he was barely a month old in this picture. I walked through the door, and Papaw basically said "hand over your child right this instant so I can snuggle him."

I can't even remember what they were doing, but there Papaw is in 2015 - on the floor with my little one. Likely they were playing with hot wheels. OR - my kid was pouting and Papaw decided to pout with him in solidarity - that happened more than once.

AGAIN with the feeding my kids ice cream! But this time Papaw was just an accomplice.

Here's Papaw at one of my kids birthday parties, sitting next to my MIL, grandpa and other family members as they do a puzzle - at a table I set up for the kids.........

I hope all of these pictures were OK to post and that I didn't take up too much space. I just wanted to share. Y'all are doing so much to help us find answers.
