Amazing man to say the least. Looking at these pics with tears in my eyes for a man I never knew, makes it easier to understand how all of you put up with as much as you do here and in BPH. Lol
He truly loves his family! Beautiful photos, thank for sharing.

Pmerle00 - Thank you so much for sharing the pictures. They are priceless and worth more than thousands of words. It makes him more "real" to us that don't have the pleasure of knowing him personally. God bless you and your family.

Pmerle, those pictures are priceless and I thank you for sharing them with us, though I now have teary eyes.
This fine man needs to be found, now, today.
Getting misty eyes here .... PaPaw has such kind eyes.

Pmerle,
I know this is going to be a difficult question to answer, so if you cannot, I understand 100%: Assuming there was foul play involved, why would anyone hurt this gentle, kind, harmless man? And based on what we know so far, I do believe whatever happened was premeditated, as opposed to an impulsive act or momentary lapse of judgement. WHY!?

Thanks for sharing your wonderful pictures. They made me smile.

I'm very sorry that you find yourself here. Prayers for you and your family.

I have teary eyes too. You can just feel the love and goodness from Mr. Chambers.

Did BC offer JC any reason why she was doing this? Possibly earlier tension between the two? Even so, doesn't explain why she would cancel the entire account and pay early termination fee's to do so.

She didn't cancel her account - that has remained the same and still is the same, only removed Justin from the account and placed Papaw's service on hold in case the phone could be recovered.
Pmerle,

I am sorry if it feels like I'm pestering you. And again, I have no reason whatsoever to doubt you or to be suspicious. I just want to understand, so that hopefully, I can help #BringPaPawHome.

This is purely my personal opinion, but I think it is pretty extreme to have one's missing spouse deceased solely for financial reasons, especially as quickly as BC has.

About what you said about the phone situation:

1. May I ask who it was that said BC did not cancel her account? And just to confirm: So BC has kept the same service provider account (Verizon, IIRC), but only with her phone. Has she kept the same phone, or did she get a new one, and if she did get a different phone, do you know what happened to the old one? I am particularly curious as our other VI posted the following just last night:

"BC told JC to find another phone service cause she was cancelling the Verizon acct. He offered to make the payment for her so he wouldn't lose the phone #. She refused this. She told him that she had received money from donations and she pd JC's phone off. JC was upset about this for more reasons than just losing the phone number." (RBBM)

Everyone is different, but it it were me, I think I would have used the donation money to keep PaPaw's phone active (as many have said, at perhaps as low as $9.99/month) as long as I could, while having JC make the payment .

2. Why would BC remove Justin's phone from the account, especially when she had to pay off the remaining balance for the phone?

3. How long after PaPaw went missing was his service put on hold? And how long after that was his phone disconnected entirely?

I know you said just the other day you were still looking into some of these things, so if you cannot answer, I understand.

Sheriff Meeks is going to be speaking at a public event. I don't know if there will be a question/answer session, but it is supposed to be a law enforcement update for Hunt Co. I'm sure they won't comment much on an ongoing investigation.

Pmerle, thank you for sharing your photos. Everyone should be blessed with a "Papaw" in there life! My heart breaks for your family and though I've had nothing to add to the discussion I wanted you to know there are many silent sleuths here holding you and Papaw in their hearts and prayers. ❤️

Maybe a social media blitz tagging HCSO on the various social media platforms demanding updates on the case . . .?

Pmerle........ I think those photos are the best thing that has happened. I can imagine how important it is for you to express how wonderful he was (and we all know how many words a picture is worth!) and it makes his situation much more real. I got the biggest chills when I saw the painting. It is just gorgeous. And with every picture, my eyes teared more. You have such a good reason to be proud of your family. That man who was so obviously full of love for.his family needs to be found. Any harm to him is more than inexcusable.

Consider how sharing some of these photos other places might draw people in to want to help. It's time to have all hands on deck. Once it gets cold, people will not be as willing to come out and look.

Guide us, Papaw! Help us find you!

https://www.victoriaadvocate.com/news/2017/aug/23/wife-of-missing-chiropractor-files-for-divorce/

I just came across this article on another missing Texas man. His wife has filed for divorce. From the above article, her attorney states:

GOLIAD - The wife of a missing Goliad man is filing for divorce so she can manage her family's assets in her husband's absence, her lawyer said Wednesday.

"We presume we are never going to see him again," Moore said in a phone interview after the hearing.

Despite that presumption, Texas laws prevent officially presuming a missing person dead until seven years have passed, Heller said.

"With a missing spouse, you can't just sell their half of the property," she said.

Both cases in Texas, VERY different information from attorney!

I have been following this case as well. Its interesting how each wife handled the situation. Very interesting that the article states that Texas law prevents a person from being declared dead until seven years had passed. How did BC arrange it so quickly.

Another day without Papaw. I hope something breaks in this case soon. My heart goes out to his family.
