We will see if anything comes out of it ...:

“Grand jury issues arson, sex assault, theft indictments”
Brad Kellar Herald-Banner Staff Dec 12, 2017

“The panel returned 42 indictments for consideration by the 354th District Court, including three charges returned sealed pending the arrest and arraignment of the person or persons named in the indictments. The grand jury also issued two “no bills” after it determined its investigation did not find sufficient evidence to issue an indictment.

A new grand jury will be seated in January to begin a six month term of serving the 196th District Court.”

Because I'm not literate in GJ terminology, what exactly does this mean?

Imho- please correct me if I'm wrong.

There were 3 charges returned sealed pending the arrest and arraignment of the person(s) named in the indictment.
(Whose names are unknown).

Often times indictments are sealed so those who will be arrested aren't forewarned and split.

So who knows whose indictment has been sealed. Maybe the perpetrators of Pawpa's disappearance? Hopefully we'll know soon.

I can't take any credit. Imho has done all the work on this and keeps an eagle eye out for indictments. I was just explaining it. I have no insider info, and know absolutely nothing about any potential or forthcoming arrests. In other words, I'm not in the know. It would come as a complete surprise to me but a very welcome one as I would love to see the family get answers and all the speculation end.

Sorry, wasn't meaning to imply anything. It's just a figure of speech, meaning I pray that it comes to pass.

Hi everyone. This is Suzy. Mike’s daughter. I’ve been very quiet only because this is an open investigation. If I could pour out my heart, I would. The time will come. For now, please allow me to say thank you. From the bottom of my heart thank you for continuing to search for Dad. Thank you for all of your time and efforts. Thank you for your prayers. Thank you for the encouragement. I check this page often. While I remain silent, know that I appreciate each of you. Merry Christmas to you all. God bless your good hearts!

Welcome Suzy, from the bottom of our hearts! Thank you for letting us know you're here.

:welcome:

We have ached with you and your family through all these long months.

We feel like we have come to know your father and your family through the heartwarming videos of him, and the touching stories that have been told about him.

His granddaughter, our verified insider, has helped us to know what a terrific guy he really was. So thankful for all the information she has shared.

There are no words to convey how sorry we are for the torture and sadness your family is enduring from all directions. It must be so hard! We care and hurt for all of you as well.

So glad you posted. If you would wish to continue to do so, we'd be so pleased to have you become a verified insider. If you'd rather stay silent though, we certainly understand.

We know Christmas is going to be painful for you and your family. Just know our hearts are hurting with you.

If there's any way we can be of help, please let us know...

:welcome: Thank you for stopping in!

I try my best to find the silver lining in every situation and with your father's disappearance, the one bright light I have found is having the privilege of getting to "know" someone who I otherwise would not. With so much horrible surrounding your dad being missing and all of the bad things and bad people in the world, it has been reassuring to know such greatness exists in one human being who then passed that legacy onto his family.

Today I had to make a copy of my driver's license to send to a new financial planner. I guess they need
it to keep on file for whatever reason.
I had to make a conscious effort to take it from the copier and put it back in my billfold.

Anyway, thought I'd throw that out there.

Even after a year at websleuths it is hard to understand how someone just disappears. My heart is filled with sadness for your family and I pray that pawpaw is found soon.

Hoping and praying that this beautiful family receives answers soon.

The only part of this that isn't heart-breaking is your great love for PaPaw.

God Bless you all.

Playing devil's advocate, how would anyone in particular know what time of day MC would be going to WalMart? It wouldn't have made sense for his wife to tell him he had to go to the store at 10:30, or 11, or even that morning. His family has said numerous times that he was not a phone texter, and we of course have no idea if he was one to call a family member to tell them he was going out to the store. It doesn't sound to me as if he were one to make a lot of phone calls, either.

All a perp or perps (or hitman) would have to know is that an individual was going to be going to Walmart on that day, then sit in wait somewhere (could be close by the house or further away but at some location that the victim would for sure drive by on their way to Walmart) and follow them. Get to Walmart and park across the parking lot but still have the victim in sight to see when they leave the parking lot, then follow them from a distance. While the victim is at Walmart, Perp#1 (or accomplice) calls Perp#2 to tell him victim has left Walmart, get to the victim's home and wait for him.

To make it even simpler, if a killer knows someone is going to Walmart on a particular day, they could just sit somewhere in the parking lot with a good view of who is entering and leaving the store and watch for the victim to enter. Sure it could take hours but it's still possible.

PaPaw did not have to text anyone, or call them either. They called him, or texted him -- I'm going with that he received a call from the individual. And it would have been a call from someone near and dear to PaPaw, who specifically asked him to go to Walmart to purchase a particular item under the guise that that day was the last day the item would be "on sale." But, that doesn't HAVE to be the situation.

It strikes me from what I have read about him, that he would have gone to the moon to help even a stranger. He was a creature of habit. In addition, someone could have been watching him from afar, undetected, to determine exactly when he left on his "mission" to Walmart. Then, accessed the property (his garage) with a key provided to that individual in advance, and waited inside for his return. The blood was found inside this garage.

There was more than one person involved in his "disappearance" (which I believe was an "ambush" and murder), in my opinion.

All of this is purely my speculation, and opinion.
