My husband fishes that lake every weekend and when RM made his statement about the speed, he said that sounds more like the speed of a boat that is trolling than of someone riding a bike. If he was taken by boat, the route the boat would have taken doesn't match the GPS info that RM gave because he said they tracked him on the route he would have taken by road... I believe either scenario you mentioned is very likely. A year ago, I was convinced he was pulled over or flagged down on the way home, harmed elsewhere and that the blood was planted...but something nags at me about that idea...the trip between w almart and his house is pretty short... I just dont think there was enough time or opportunity to do anything on the side of the road..its too risky that someone would drive by. It's a frequently travelled road. The idea that he was attacked in his shop makes the most sense to me...im still not decided on whether i think he was taken elsewhere and killed, or killed on the property and buried there ...but I'm leaning more towards him still being there or close

Exactly my thought and maybe explains why the house is being sold so quickly.

Yes! I think someone has a desperate need to separate themselves from that property.

IMO...if MC is buried there, BC has no idea.
I cannot fathom her selling it and therefore turning it over to new owners who may very well dig on the property, allow searches, etc.
That just seems WAY too risky! The only way I can see him being there is if someone else put him there and BC has no idea he's there.
Plus, wouldn't family have looked all over there for freshly-dug spots? They did do a thorough search of his property, right? And by they I mean the daughters. I'm not going to take the word of RM on anything, for reasons stated above by inmyhumbleopinion.

That's why I think its possible maybe the killer put him in the septic tank...after all this time, if the new owners ever thought to take a look, there wouldn't be much left except maybe some teeth and hair:(

I had another appointment in Quinlan this morning.. about 20 minutes ago, as I was heading home, I passed the house and noticed a flashing red light coming from a box that is attached to the side of the house that faces the shop...i think it was an alarm of some sorts...any ideas??

Sent from my SM-J727P using Tapatalk

Could it have been the box for the aerobic septic system? I had to have one installed at my new house. It has lights that flash when something is wrong but it is also supposed to make a sound like an alarm I think.

I had my radio and windows up so I can't say either way if there was a sound or not. The red flashing is what caught my attention..it does sound like what i saw...i was planning on googling it when I got a chance... Dang, now I'm wishing I would have turned around and drove back by lol. Just yesterday I inquired about an aerobic water system on the property. According to the listing there is one. I'm curious, what would trigger the alarm? There s nobody living there. I'm gonna put off dinner for a bit and start googling lol. Thanks for the info!!!

I’m not sure if he can do anything (i.e., if he were to go on the property, it would be considered trespassing, right?), but this really needs to be brought to Klein’s attention immediately, IMO.

I don't know anything about trespassing laws but if BC is still legally in charge of the property and gets word he was there, she probably would press charges on him

if his body had been put in the septic tank wouldn't dirt be quite disturbed? Or it is topped with gravel? And to the poster who said it was checked, was that on an early thread from PM? If they did check there it mist be that it looked disturbed. Otherwise if it looked covered with grass I don't see anyone having a reason to investigate.

I honestly have no idea

I do not believe he's buried on the property either. I remember around 4 to 5 years ago a young woman went missing here in my hometown. They questioned everyone. Even the boyfriend.
She was found a year later in a rented storage place. Inside a blue plastic barrel encased in cement. Rented out to the boyfriend.
Just my own beliefs an how I feel..
His wife knows exactly what happened to poor Papa.
If I am wrong I will eat a plate of cooked crow!! Also, some side dip please. [emoji6]

I’m picking my daughter up right now, but does anyone have Klein’s number handy? I can call him when I get home in 15-ish minutes.

Off to look for it on the BPH page!

Maybe someone who has a septic system can chime in and tell is how it appears over the top on the ground. I do find it odd that they looked. Something must have made them question it, it couldn't have been nice smooth grass and dirt.

If it had/has sod grass over it, that can be cut with a tool and rolled over & put back in place with barely a seam showing.. But, when you take the lid off an old fashioned concrete septic tank it has to be pried, lifted and placed aside where it's going to make a mess of things.

If there was a home on this property in the past that had a septic tank it could be covered with leaves & such.

Curious if there might be an old well, cistern or such from years ago. I've heard of both humans & animals dropped in , lime, then quik-Crete & dirt.

Apologies for morbid post.

Where is this man??

Edit: my septic tank was put in in 90's. Upgraded & newer ones may be different?

This is my septic tank. Ignore the bird bath that hasn’t been put together yet. The lights at the top are orange and red. There are three of those green tops and one white one sticking up from the ground. The white one you put bleach in. I know one of the green ones is for when they pump the waste out. The other two just cover the tank. And my friend who used to install them said that in his opinion a body would fit.

I'm not too familiar with the aerobic system or septic. Does a company come along and pump out the waste
from time to time? What happens when the red light flashes? What does the homeowner do? Call someone? Add
bleach?

I add bleach every month. Bleach goes down the white tube. I haven’t had mine pumped yet. None of the lights have flashed. If either light goes off then I would call a septic company and tell them which light it was. I do believe the red light means it needs to be pumped.

Is that strange that no one has lived there for over a year for the system to be pumped? Even if not living there, is maintenance still required even though there's no one using the bathrooms?

From what I was told, if no one is using it then it shouldn’t need to be pumped. When I first got mine I thought they had to be pumped every year. I asked a septic company and they said no. Depending on the size of the family using the septic it can be four years before the septic needs to be pumped. The four years is based on my family of three.

That's what I was thinking... what about heavy rain? Would it flood the tank causing it to need to be pumped?
