Could be she knows he walked out on her. I suspect when MC made a decision, he didn't deviate from it. She knows that better than anyone.
This sounds terrible but....what if this was planned by the both of them? The hat and wallet was a signal he has left. He takes the cash to live on a while, she gets the pension and real estate etc. They could have learned what needed to be done to declare him dead. She sells things and knows how to get some of the proceeds, to him. No messy divorce, just walk away.

I don't necessarily think this happened but; they say he would have done anything for her, maybe he did just that. I am trying to think of alternate scenario's.

My thought has always been, he cut off a child and was harmed because of it.

I don’t see anything newer than August 14, and certainly nothing new or helpful. What am I missing?

Not too much. Most we have talked about here but it doesn't hurt to check it now and then.

I believe Tallulah means there's a lot of chatter on the BringPapawHome FB
page.
I meant whats bph as a joke cause I was in the middle of that argument that was going on.Sorry to be so confusing.I think things are moving in the case but they really won't go anywhere until another law enforcement branch gets involved which should have not been months ago but many years ago.

Does anyone think that HCSO might be reluctant these days to do any kind of an update on Papaw's case. even if there's nothing of substance other than an update detailing how many detectives, or number of interviews to date, etc?

People on social media, locals to that county and all across the nation, came and continue to come down so hard on Meeks and HCSO that I simply wonder if that has silenced them, so to speak. I would hate to think that. I realize we've heard nothing from Klein Investigations, either, and I do hope there is enough $ to keep them on the case, if there's still much of anything to work on :( Bumping!

As of a few days ago they were still sending information to Klein Investigations.Looking at social media such as the Hunt County Theft Report and Hunt County Scanner beyond the ones following on BPH and others have forgotten and back HCSO 100%.There's no mention of Papaw why bring it up?

I hope this ok to post. What do you guys think of the same person being responsible for both disappearances?Matthew James Hallman missing from Greenville Texas
There are sure similarities.
It bothers me that his family doesn't seem to be concerned. I think its possible Hallman is alive. I noticed even though he was an executive and owned rental property, they didn't own the home they lived in.

If I'm not mistaken, we discussed this guy a while back. Wasn't he the man who bought a ton of camping equipment and voluntarily went camping away from everyone. They found him and he wished to remain missing?

I've not seen it stated for sure that he was found. But it seems that way to me. I don't think the investigation is still open.

Steve, are you asking me why I brought this up? I'm not sure I understand your comment? I haven't read on two of the pages you mentioned, so apparently haven't been aware of the level of support.

I'm sorry Tripod no I'm asking why would Meeks bring it up.The ones who follow the cases in Hunt County and already had suspicions and low opinions of Meeks are the only ones making noise about the Michael. Most people have moved on to supporting him in rounding up Methicans as they call them.Things are good for him if he just don't bring it up.

I didn't even realise it was likely he was found.I know another missing person from the count David Bratton was removed from Namus before and nobody knows why.

Wait a minute did someone find Hallman or are you going on the fact that HCSO doesn't consider him missing? This guys wife was in front of the same judge as BC and had sold their house within a couple of months.I don't know that anyone has mentioned seeing any Walmart footage in Hallman's case.It came from a questionable source Meeks. There isn't much information out there so I could be wrong.
