I wonder how MC's family is doing? Thinking of them, and Papaw, often.

I hope the case is still being worked on and we will have some news soon. Thinking of MC and his family/friends who love and miss him. Also still waiting for justice for any and all involved in his disappearance.

Seems substantial. Foul play hasn't been at the forefront?
The Hunt Co. Sheriff's Dept. has never classified this as anything but a missing person case, as far as I know. Early on, the sheriff did call it suspicious, but eventually suggested MC harmed himself. I'd have to say most folks in the public and certainly some in the family, strongly disagreed right from the start. I probably am supposed to link, but the sheriff did a press conference that is linked in thread one. I'm terrible at searching here within the site, but several months ago the sheriff suggested MC rode a bike to a bridge and jumped off into the water... He did have to back away from that one.

Well if I had that much red stuff leaking out of me I'd be whining. If he hurt himself on purpose maybe there'd be more though?
Unless he managed to slice himself as a clue? Someone was committing a kidnapping or other crime? Blood a "red flag?"
Bike missing? Was it expensive? Maybe someone was stealing it and he caught them?
The place looked kept well. Probably not likely he left dried up blood puddles on the shop floor.
Just. Hinky.

I don't think there was a bike though. This was a sheriff trying to make a problem go away with a ridiculous theory.IMO

Ok thx. Don't know why I had that idea.
So blood even more mysterious if he didn't hurt himself getting bike off overhead rack perhaps.
He wanted to leave a clue of foul play so he cut himself and left droppings of blood. ???? Maybe.
Looks like the corner of shed door, maybe leaning against wall? Blood drops straight down in picture.eads to wonder was he leaning there for support after hurting himself? Being wounded? Being loaded up to be carried off? It seems a little off the path to just be walking out to get a bandage, which whatever was bleeding must have required. ??? My speculation but right?
Not a lot of blood but certainly no cut finger either just judging from the picture and thinking how it could have been deposited IMO

My goodness I'm puzzled as I have always thought the garage was staged to hide the real crime scene.I'm not so sure as cadaver dogs hit in the backyard not long ago. There was a wooden dowel found there with a bloody partial palm print to me it looked like someone stuck it in a bucket of blood and let it drip then rolled it around in it.

I’ve always felt the blood puddle was staged, although others with much more experience than I didn’t share that theory.

That was the opinion of the Texas Ranger on the scene. It would still be mine if not for the fact the dogs hit there at the residence.

So nah. No foul play. Not a bit. Right.

Bumping for Papaw!!

I'm not understanding.I absolutely 100% think he was murdered.
Me too. Was being sarcastic since they are seeming to ignore what seems obvious

Sorry.Yes they ignored a lot of obvious things like his truck seat being moved.

Moved from his vehicle? How very odd. I haven't heard all this!
I'm frantically trying to read back. not being up to speed on all the happenings. (I didn't even realize it was still open until I found it in WS.
WS is a great way to keep the story going.)
From what I read more than one person might know something. Maybe that makes it twice as likely they'll slip up.
I've got some background reading to catch up on to get up to speed on all this. And figure out some of the initials lol.
So many unanswered questions.
