I had to chuckle looking at Google Maps as there's a salon nearby and an acupuncture clinic, among other businesses inc a thrift shop on the other side of a major highway there. Maybe she thought she could talk her way into a job at the acupuncture place, but she'd need a change of attire. How on earth did she figure she'd be able to do that? Strip down and walk into the thrift shop and do a little theft? Would honestly love to have someone be able to interview her.
Yes! I remember that as well. What was her "excuse" for that? Did she immediately not like how she looked after the injection, or was she literally just planning on dashing off and dissing them out of her fee? If she wasn't happy with the results, you take it to another level. Makes us wonder, I'm sure, what other types of actions she performed along these lines over the years, bilking others.Yes .. and IMO, KA is one piece of work. She's very cunning and manipulative. In her theft from a merchant (Botox) charge, she made up an excuse that she wanted to use a different form of payment that was in her vehicle, and perhaps as a gesture of good faith, gave them another credit card with her name to hold while she went to her vehicle. And then she fled! As for the credit card left behind, the merchant learned it was invalid and/or canceled (most likely from the lender). I don't blame the merchant for not writing this off, and pursuing KA to the extent of the law available to them. MOO
This was not her first Botox, and IMO, she was addicted to the procedure (must be kept up to maintain the result), and believed she was entitled to something for nothing.Yes! I remember that as well. Did KA already make it over the fence wall, or was she trapped against the wall? The video cuts out too soon to make it out!CAUGHT ON CAM: Kaitlin Armstrong, the woman accused of murdering cyclist Moriah “Mo” Wilson is back in custody after a failed attempt to escape from TCSO deputies this morning leaving a doctor’s appointment.
Looks like her hands are cuffed together.CAUGHT ON CAM: Kaitlin Armstrong, the woman accused of murdering cyclist Moriah “Mo” Wilson is back in custody after a failed attempt to escape from TCSO deputies this morning leaving a doctor’s appointment.
I don't know, but I"m just so glad to see that other people are laughing at that video and it's not just me.
Looks like her hands are cuffed together.
Slung those hands up ( hard) over fence.
IMO proof that she is fast, strong, focused
and could shoot Mo.
Banfield is saying:
Armstrong sprinted for 10 full minutes!
MOO
Maybe the big advantage to escaping right there is that she knows the neighborhood.Does her ex BF still live where they both used to reside together? Odd that she was 2.3 miles from that location today. My red arrow is pointing to the Travis Co Correctional Facility. The orange Google marker in top left is where she escaped from the orthopedic doctor's office and the 5301 Fort Clark Drive is where I am showing he and/or they both lived at one time. Coincidence? Could be her just wanting to take any opportunity to escape if she could ... or was she on a mission to go after him?

Best video I’ve seen in ages!As I'm watching for the umpteenth time, I keep hearing slapstick music in my head ("Yakety Sax").
I hope the jurors get to see the video. They will need some levity after hearing about the horror inflicted on Mo.
OK, guess she didn't make it over the fence...Confirmed!

A spokesperson for the sheriff’s office said officers caught up to her and restrained her within about 10 minutes.
In the video from KXAN viewer [TR], you can see what looks like Armstrong – with her hands restrained – running on a hill next to the medical office’s parking lot with an officer chasing her. You can also see the woman in the video try to jump over the fence.
Moriah was several days shy of her 26th birthday. This was not her first Botox, and IMO, she was addicted to the procedure (must be kept up to maintain the result), and believed she was entitled to something for nothing.
ETA: Moriah was only 34, and Kaitlin more than 10 years older. KA had no intent to age gracefully!
I had always assumed that she had just kept on not paying the bill. But this trickery on the day is really something else, isn't it. Deliberate deception and theft. Probably planned in advance. And it certainly indicates it wasn't her first rodeo, IMO.Yes! I remember that as well. What was her "excuse" for that? Thanks for confirming and bringing this to my attention. I knew it was wrong as I typed it but relied on the heading of the thread which incorrectly cites Moriah as age 34. I'll report this error right now.Moriah was several days shy of her 26th birthday.
^^ Edit to correct MW's age. This was not her first Botox, and IMO, she was addicted to the procedure (must be kept up to maintain the result), and believed she was entitled to something for nothing.
