Cofer was probably in the phone booth, changing from his Superman costume, back into his Clark Kent suit, and so the other attorney took the beatdown for his opening statement.

If KA is going to get out of this, he better keep that Superman cape close by.
Maybe his blue suit, white shirt and red tie hadn’t come back from the cleaners yet!

Even if the ballistics and KA DNA on Moriahs bike is not 100% definitive there sounds like a ton of other evidence of motive, stalking, etc!

The two new things that jump out are 1) the audio of the murder was captured on Ring; also that the murder wasn’t until 915 I thought it would be closer to 845 right after Moriah went into the apartment and KAs Jeep seen outside on camera; and 2) that Moriah and CS road tripped together from AZ to Austin just 2 days before the murder. Wonder if CS told KA that
That time period gap is interesting for sure.

I also hope we learn how she got into the house. Did Mo just leave it unlocked? Because I thought early on we learned the door automatically locked, but perhaps it didn't.

Plus the Jeep Infotainment center GPS data is new to us as well, with her little trip to a dumpster.

The prosecutor is very unprofessional with his raised voice.

The defense bringing up her "weak and damaged" mental health almost sounds like they are admitting her guilt. Why mention that now? Or at all? Unless they're going to use it as a reason for her "sudden trip" to extricate herself from the situation.

I hope we learn how she obtained the passport . . .

I think I saw somewhere that the security app for CCs apartment would alert CC when the door was locked (it alerted when Moriah locked the door at 530 ish when she left to go with CS to the pool). I’m guessing Moriah did not lock the door when she came in that night.

How could KA be sure no one else was in the apartment? As it was CC came home just a half hour after the murder. Maybe KA didn’t care who else was there. Or maybe she saw MW unlock the door and go in and then watched for a while to see no one else came by (possibly accounting for the time lapse before the murder).

I had the same thoughts. Colin could have followed her inside, Cash and or someone else could have been there. It could have ended very badly for more than just Mo. Maybe that accounts for the gap in time - KA could have been scoping out the windows or listening for other voices?

Agree. First time today I heard about the murder being captured on Ring. Wow! As I'm sure you already know DNA isnt needed to convict a person, there appears to be enough sufficient evidence in this case for a conviction, moo.

Excellent point. And if there is no proof of her guilt beyond a reasonable doubt as the defense claims, why would it matter if she was weak and damaged?
Defense needed an excuse for why KA ran off to Costa Rica and why she did her Hamburglar dash from the medical office.

She’s ‘innocent’, but so weak and damaged that she runs in fear.

Yeah, the she's "weak and damaged" from her past comment was made in reference to why her first response was to flee. But they also claimed that she's just as girl who loves to do yoga and travel and had no way to know a warrant was issued for her arrest! Well, which is it? Did she flee or did she just happen to travel to Costa Rica for a yoga retreat and a little plastic surgery?

Didn’t her attorneys once float the notion she fled because she feared CS? Wonder if they’ve dropped that angle

How she got into the house -my recollection from the news reports at the time was that Mo opened the door. So KA must have knocked or rang the bell.

Those homes are so close together in that neighborhood, too. I wonder if anyone actually heard the gunshots? Guessing not, as no one called police other than Cash...

Oh! I don't recall that.

If she runs out of fear because she’s so weak and damaged, what scared her at the Botox appointment she ran away from?

I don't recall but it would fit the scene as described by the DA. He said Mo's phone was found on the sofa, plugged into the charger. The sofa was just steps away from the door. Cellphone records show she was on her phone in the time between getting home and being killed. So perhaps there was a knock at the door and she calmly set her phone down and got up to answer it. And then made a run for the bathroom which was also steps away. How terrifying for her.

Jessica Taylor from CBS austin “Defense says that the jury will hear that “weird” things were happening at Armstrong’s home that would cause a reasonable person to fear for their safety.” _ I guess that will be the supposed motorcycle being knocked down in the driveway and cinder blocks from the yard knocked down in the days after the murder. Is that supposed to justify her fleeing
