At this point, police now consider Armstrong a person of interest. She has a class B warrant out. Armstrong is brought in but can't explain why her Jeep was there. Police release her. A search warrant is executed and two 9mm pistols are located, including Armstrong's Sig Sauer.

I'm cringing as he's bringing up the fact KA said she wanted to leave the police interview room but she didn't leave, and the police kept asking her questions. Clearly a preemptive tactic because knows the defence will made a big issue of that.

She is a strong woman. I don't know that I could go back and continue living there after witnessing what she did that night.

The jury made up of 8 women and 6 men are listening intently to the ADA's opening statements. He is doing a very good job speaking directly to them and walking them through the process. Armstrong sits quietly and is paying close attention, as well.
