So CourtTV got this wrong? Everything I’m reading sounds like 30 years or after you’ve served half, whichever comes first, and that’d be 30 in her case, or when she’s 65.

Yeah, I'll go with what the judge said as surely she knows better than CourtTV.

I was wondering.....was KA on sedatives during the trial, and today? How could there be no reaction to the sentence, and to CC's and Mo's mom's powerful words (that we could discern anyway).
Or is KA simply resigned to her fate, completely empty?
And no reaction to the guilty verdict yesterday either.
Will she be on suicide watch? Serious question.

I wondered the same.

She knows what she did.

Quite possibly medicated. I was drawn to this article from Medical News Today about the psychopathic brain. Edit: I hesitate to share scientific perspectives on evil here, but hope knowledge/intervention will save lives.

Prosecution lawyers were focussed and passionate and brought some amazingly compelling experts. They did their homework.

Obviously we couldnt actually see most of the trial, but defence team didnt seem to make much of an impact, IMO, bored the court room to death with their supposed "discrediting expert witness" and the tedious final summing up.

@alcaprari23

"Even after all of this, I feel hope. I hope that I can live a life that she would be proud of and I will carry her with me each day. I choose light, I choose joy, and I choose Love. And Kaitlin, I really hope you can find that, too."

pure 100 percent sociopath. mOO
Yes. And this also explains why KA tolerated CS's bad boy behavior and disrespect as she knew that she was also a player, a fraud, and capable of the same behavior if not worse. And did she show us what she was capable of. Her actions hurt so many -- including those who loved KA most. MOO

The book "I hate you don't leave me" opened my eyes years ago to the lengths some people would go to in order to keep a relationship that was destructive to both individuals. It answered many questions for me personally.

And the scorched ground of the many people a person could harm in the midst of punishing the person they hated but did not want to leave them.

I've seen that same expression on KA's face on someone else when their attempts at total destruction were for nothing.

KA will never admit she did something wrong. Nor will she accept that she did. She was only erasing the pain she felt someone else did to her but her soul is black and nothing will ever fill that empty black hole.

It's so terribly awful the many lives KA did ruin to punish only one person for possibly leaving her. She would never have harmed Colin. It was all for him after all.

I don't think KA should ever be released, but my .02 only.
When she's eligible, most likely MW's family will be there to speak against this ?
I think the jury got it right, but life without parole would've been better.
Omo.

What a classy lady, Moriah's mother. :(
And the rest of her family as well !
My utmost condolences for the loss of their precious daughter and sister.

This Exhibit below is believed to be KA's guilty plea agreement for the theft of service (Botox) signed on 10/30/23. I don't think she's appeared in Court to enter change of plea yet per the docket.

KA has a Court date for the escape charge in December.
