i do not have the link now, but an article was linked here within the past day or two, maybe info from a search warrant even, stating she was shot 3 times in the head and at least once in the torso.

This is execution-style. Horrible.

Wouldn't KA have had blood all over her?

Just letting my imagination run riot here - is it possible that KA went home to CS, confessed everything, and he helped her get away? Possible? Impossible? Maybe?

This story is very interesting because amidst a horrible tragedy, you also see different human types and their reactions. For example: If it is found that CA was complicit, a lot of people would still feel some empathy towards her, because her choice was dictated by the fear that her beloved sister could get in prison.

Suffice it to say, CS is not CA. I’d expect his behavior to be aimed at preservation of own positive public image. It is not a negative thing, he did invest a lot into his sport and business, but helping a person escape and problem-escaping are very different MOs. JMO, MOO, etc, etc.

JMHO - she did not think the community or LE would connect her to KW, but thought that CS could. Hence, she returned the gun, so that CS wouldn’t make the connection, on hearing about KW’s murder. KA was afraid that he might guess, and get angry, maybe leave her. JMO x 2. In this, she totally misread him, and his reaction. And this is what makes me wonder about KA.

Quote RSBM. What do you mean? (By the last two sentences?)

Probably true. I guess she didn’t factor in ring cams….

I am already nervous about this case and worried about the defense attorney and how he might gather sympathy for his client.

Found an interesting article about him. Interesting tactics in court. … he asked a female colleague to sit at the prosecution table in a trial and to “tap her pen or play with her hair” in an attempt to influence male jurors, the records show.

Most attorneys are more subtle when they apply these various tactics in their cases.

Well, I didn't think his Superlawyers 94% "success rate" was all due to legal prowess. RC has been on the prosecution side of the table, too. That's really helpful - knowing the potential weaknesses of your taxpayer-funded opponents.

And, as an OP mentioned upthread, those following the Suzanne Morphew case have watched a successful defense attorney deploy questionable words, deeds & tactics in defense of SM's husband in his capital murder case. Instructive, IMO.

EVERY defendant deserves a vigorous defense. But some courtroom & PR tactics can appear to be an attempt to deny fairness to the deceased victim.

MOO

Impossible. Also, by now I think we would have heard something supporting his involvement. Plus KA is not going down without dragging him into it if he was involved.

Whatever went on between them after KA arrived home until she flew to Houston interests me. At that point who was gaslighting whom?

KA, went to the location where MW would be found, for one purpose and one purpose only. Hopefully, she will be held accountable.

Fox news has an article about KA practicing with her sister at a gun range. Also says that CS had I believe liquidated finances for KA at this time. I may not have it completely right but something to that effect.

Been wondering about blood spatter….
This! I have been wondering about this a lot as well and can only hope that APD found and took KA’s clothing -including shoes, washed or not, from the evening of the murder.

Thanks. Here’s the article…

Documents revealed Armstrong’s boyfriend, 35-year-old pro cyclist Colin Strickland, initially denied knowing the victim, a 25-year-old fellow riding pro, to detectives when they first interviewed him after the murder.
……
Wilson had lacerations on her right finger and under her chin, according to the warrant. Police found shell casings labeled "9mm JAG" in the room.

Strickland had also given Armstrong $450,000 as investment capital. According to the warrants, he asked for it back, but she did not return it before fleeing the state on May 14. She allegedly flew to New York, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.
……
Before she fled, the warrants note that police found passports – plural – in her purse on May 12, the day they seized two of her cellphones.
……
"Strickland further advised Armstrong has visited an unknown gun range with her sister to learn how to use a firearm," the warrants state.
……
Police obtained search warrants for Strickland’s DNA, his phone, two phones belonging to Armstrong, her MacBook Pro and a house she owned in Austin that is different from where she lived with Strickland.

I’ve seen a photo of gun practice at the range on SM. Not sure I could find it again, and we are not allowed to sleuth sister, but the photo was out there.

Still can’t over CS lying to police initially that he didn’t know Moriah! No words!! Some people lie as easily as they breathe!

Dang, KA shot Mo while she was lying on her back face up after the 2 shots to her head. What a savage monster!

Yes. Very pertinent. Wonder what else he lied or told half-truths about?

PLURAL passports? Interesting. Did she have her sister’s passport before going to NY?
