Maybe the defense realizes bond is a lost cause. Their only hope of springing her is the bum's rush the judge has allowed.

Just wait. Bond will soon be used as another reason to paint their client's State and US Constitutional rights being violated -- and they'll be sure to paint a vivid picture for the Court of KA being treated like a caged animal, sans yoga mat, all the while demanding her trial commence in October! JMO

Ricky Garcia from KXAN had footage of her when she went before the judge not today, but earlier this month. It was posted here just today by a poster, I’d never seen it before. You could see her very clearly, and finally hear her speaking, her real voice—-and then suddenly KXAN took it down.

Cofer said Armstrong’s legal team has some questions themselves, including why Austin Police officers “seemingly ignored a tip about the former boyfriend of Ms. Wilson.” He also said they want to know “who vandalized the home of Kaitlin Armstrong and Colin Strickland the night of Wilson’s death and why?”

Wow-wee! So many questions. What’s this about vandalism? First I’ve heard of this. Where is Cofer getting his information from? His lying client? Somewhere else? Colin never mentioned it; it’s not in the police report.

Who is this ex Cofer is bringing up? Didn’t Kaitlin’s dad pull the same excuse on the GMA interview? Only he said the killer might be one of Colin’s other lovers - something to that effect. Not Kaitlin, but some other upset lover.

Typical defense attorney stuff here. Not my client. My client is innocent and you will see. We have sloppy “so called” cops here who didn’t do their job correctly after this “unfortunate” incident occurred, and an ex boyfriend that wasn’t looked at. Oh …and vandalism. Nothing to see her folks. Distract, confuse. Yada yada yada.

Did you notice she had a correctional officer standing close by that went out of the view of the camera, and she was standing there in her stripped suit alone…no attorney present. That was on 7/5/22, then a motion for notice of counsel was added.

Did someone arrange Cofer for her, or wonder if Cofer contacted her?

I believe she is using privately paid attorneys. I'm sure one of KA's family members probably contacted Cofer's office.

I know Cofer is on the revolving list of defense attorneys who are picked to defend an indigent client when public defenders case loads are full, but he seemed to show up right outta the gate when she arrived in Houston. Was that arranged before she even showed up in Travis country court? Was she granted indigent status on her way to Houston? In Houston? Has she even been granted indigent status?
