Also from the article:

"If you assert your right to a speedy trial, then you are ready to go to trial ... despite having filed all these motions (for evidence)," Kennedy told defense attorneys.”

If you scroll down, you even see Christine Armstrong from earlier today at the courthouse.

Wow good find re CA! Seems to really be a valued member of the defense team.

“Kait”

“If Kait is going to be held in jail until trial, or face millions of dollars' bond, then she has the right for trial to be held as quickly as possible," Armstrong's attorney Rick Cofer told the American-Statesman. "In the meantime, questions about both the circumstances and the police investigation itself still need to be answered."

That's quite a familiar way to refer to her. Is it at all possible he knows KA personally/socially prior to all of this? He's not much older than her (he went to college in 2000 and has been practicing law since 2008).

Are you all referring to the woman in black with the sleeves that are too long?

Yes, and the extremely low cut suit.

He wants to humanize her. It’s all for the jury.

Regarding that vandalism, I would think CS had cameras up to protect his house and all his cycling gear and bikes. I want to know more about this vandalism and where that info came from. First thing that comes to mind is that KA and CS got in a fight and she started vandalizing his stuff. But yet, there’s been no mention of anything like that in the police reports or from CS himself.

I can't tell if that white thing above the garage is a light or a camera.

There's KA's now-former Jeep on the driveway. (Note: the address displayed at the top left is not KA's home address because I had to move to the side street to get a more recent image.)

New details from APD reveal the suspect accused of murdering a well-known cyclist in Austin was in custody days before the murder warrant was issued, but had been released.

"She was arrested for a misdemeanor warrant issued out of Travis County. Armstrong was transported to the main police station and interviewed. Armstrong was questioned about her vehicle being in the area as pictured on the ring camera, however she would not confirm or deny being in the area of the murder and quickly terminated the interview," said Detective Richard Spitler, Austin Police Department Homicide Unit.

"Armstrong was mistakenly released from custody on the misdemeanor warrant because her date of birth in our report management system did not match the date of birth on the warrant.

Our report management system had Armstrong's DOB listed in April whenever her actual DOB is in November, so there was a discrepancy there and so we weren't able to verify saying that this warrant was valid for her based off that discrepancy. It was later found out that our system was incorrect and that her birthday was actually November as listed."

Kaitlin Marie Armstrong is accused of shooting and killing Anna Moriah Wilson on May 11th.

"The preliminary investigation revealed that Anna Wilson, a cyclist, was visiting Austin and staying with her friend on the way to the Dallas area for a race.

Our investigation shows that before her death, Wilson was in the company of Colin Strickland. The preliminary investigation revealed that Colin dropped Wilson off at 1708 Maple Avenue at approximately 8:36 pm. Investigators obtained ring camera video from the neighborhood that captured a vehicle at 1708 Maple Ave within two minutes of the time Colin dropped off Wilson.

It was later discovered that vehicle was registered to Colin's girlfriend, Kaitlin Armstrong," Spitler said.

Police executed a search warrant at the suspect's home and two handguns were seized. One of the handguns was positively identified as the handgun that was used to fire at Wilson.

It looks like a light. I have been looking for cameras also in other photos. There’s something near the upper side left of the garage door, but I couldn’t tell what it was. And then I got distracted by that yard.

Sounds to me they got her tag number - Ring doorbell must have captured it. Wonder what else it captured that police might be holding back from the public. I really hope they have a camera of KA getting out of her vehicle and going up those steps.

Edited to add: the incorrect April birthday error is interesting. Typo? Weird typo however. Is that the bday she gave the Botox clinic? I wonder if anyone close to her has an April birthday?

If that's CA in the middle, to me, she and KA don't look alike at all. Their face shapes are totally different. That's been my sense from the get go, but is now 100% reaffirmed for me. I don't see how they'd ever be confused. Maybe a sisterly bond made them feel alike, so KA went with the passport swap as though they were? IMO

And we know that this marketing and posturing of their client begins long before KA will enter the courtroom. By the time KA is seated at the defense table, she'll be blinking her eyes on cue.

Polish and soften all you want RC, your client is still a jealous, vindictive, cold-blooded killer. JMO
