Baytown mom accused of locking her son up, forcing him to live in his own feces

Court records reveal the woman's 11-year-old son, who has autism, was malnourished and was forced to live in a room filled with his own feces.

According to court documents, Rachel Blaylock is accused of locking up her son, who has autism, and forcing him to live in a room filled with his own feces. Police say she is charged with injury to a child as well as possession of methamphetamine.

A Child Protection Services investigator advised the officer to tell Blaylock the child needed medical care.

“I can’t just drop everything I’m f****** doing and take him to the hospital so a quack a** doctor can say, ‘ohh I don’t know what’s wrong with him,’ so we can see another one,” Blaylock said.

A dietitian recorded that the child weighed in at 46 pounds – 88 pounds is the average weight of an 11-year-old boy, according to a CDC percentile chart.

On Oct. 7, with criminal charges in hand, police moved to arrest Blaylock. Records show she had a cylindrical container on her belt loop, which she told authorities "contained her baby daddy's ashes."

Court records show authorities determined they were not human ashes, but rather crystal meth, and that is why she is now facing an additional drug possession charge.
