8-25? “Oh she could be a grown <modsnip> woman or she could be a prepubescent little girl”. What in the world?! They thought that she could be EIGHT?! With a height of 5’3”?! I know that’s possible but that’d mean she’d be over six feet as an adult. That’s crazy rare. But honestly how could they think she was 8 but also think she could be 25? Also the height thing. Don’t Hispanic people, at least Mexicans and Central Americans, tend to be on the short side? 5’3” would make sense then for a teenage girl or young woman but not a prepubescent child!

Most likely it's just a typo and they mean 18-25

They did mention mid teens to mid 20s, so maybe 8-25 could be correct, just a theory of mine but maybe she was actually younger than we think and just developed early, but I am leaning more towards 18-25.

It sounds like they only found partial skeletal remains, hence the uncertainty about age, IMO.
Does she have any Rule-outs in NamUs?

"Circumstances of Recovery
Deceased 2-5 years; found on Pleasant Hill Cemetery Road, Bell County. "

Is it strange that the remains were found on a road but not noticed for several years?

I wonder if they kept or can still obtain DNA. She could be a known MP case.

It’s a fairly rural road. I’m not sure exactly where she was discovered, but there look to be a couple of areas in which she could have gone unnoticed for a few years.

This is the street view of one section of the road.

It’s only about 14 miles from Fort Cavazos.

Bumping case up. I hope DNA is available and someone is actively working on this case.
