Will we have the opportunity to see one witness, connected to the defendant, testify that hasn't done some sort of drugs????

Things to look forward to...

That day Daniel discussed robbing a convenience store. Wondered about how much money they might keep in the cash drawer

Chris Sadeghi @chrissadeghi
Daniel talked about getting away with worse things than robbing a store. Also bragged about eluding police.

They had plenty of food in the apartment that night!

I get the impression that this witness is disgusted by BD! :twocents:

Chris Sadeghi @chrissadeghi
While roommates, Daniel never expressed resentment towards his family or ever mentioned a bad childhood.

Davis, who served in Iraq war, received Xanax for PTSD. Said the drug would make him feel like a zombie and cause him to lose control.

:laughcry: He says Nikki was "Nuts"

I bet Davis had to hide his xanax from Brandon. Seems he is the only one with an RX for it.

How come voluntary drug use is an excuse for killing anybody much less a police officer? Really tired of this..many people take all kinds of drugs per doctors orders and are not out killing people. When are people going to be held responsible ..always some one else's fault. Grrrrr!

A corrections officer in the Del Valle facility says in May of 2012, Daniel came to him and said he needed to talk to him.

Chris Sadeghi @chrissadeghi
Daniel told the jailer he found some orange and green pills and had taken them in an attempt to commit suicide.

IMO it isn't.

IMO it isn't.

I know..legally it is not, but seems like the jury is supposed to feel sorry for a defendant because of drugs, abuse, another person. So as a result, we get a lower count for a verdict or reluctance to put someone to death.

Um... So BD wrote his mother a letter explaining how to read his code! :waitasec:

Chris Sadeghi @chrissadeghi
Another jailer said Daniel left behind what appeared to be a "cryptic message." Along with it was a letter to his mother.

Chris Sadeghi @chrissadeghi
The letter to his mother explained how to decrypt the letter and others that may follow. Decrypted, it said "I love you, Mom."
