And this MSM about a call for finding Vanessa below. Scheduled to happen in front of Fort Hood this Friday. (Tomorrow).
Facebook group calls for peaceful action for missing Fort Hood soldier

FORT HOOD, TX — A Fort Hood soldier who was last seen April 22 is still missing and people want answers.

Pfc. Vanessa Guillen was last seen in the parking lot of Regimental Engineer Squadron Headquarters on Fort Hood.

The Facebook group “Find Vanessa Guillen” has announced plans to do a peaceful action in front of Fort Hood on Friday, May 22, a month after her disappearance.

The group will be meeting at 3 pm at 1301 West Central Texas Expressway No. 200 in Killeen behind Shipley’s Donuts and they’re encouraging those who are interested to bring cardboard and markers for posters.

For more information, head over to theirFacebook page.

Now I see a murder of another FH pfc.
Talk about damage control.

Not sure you would have to be a "psychic" to think this a possibility.

You actually don't..I was mearly making a statement.

Whether it's easy to get onto Fort Hood or not, I think a completely random abductor with no connection to the base would never choose that as a place to find victims, first of all they wouldn't necessarily know what the security protocols were or whether there were cameras everywhere. So whether the person knew Vanessa or just had seen her, they were probably definitely authorized to be on base. Like many of you, I lean towards a relationship with a married person who had a lot to lose if something got out. Alternately somebody who was infatuated with her and got turned down, but I am less inclined to think that way - it's an awfully big risk to take on base unless you have a lot to lose. I always roll my eyes when people say "maybe she was pregnant" in almost every case, but like @GordianKnot, I can't help but think of Erin Corwin.

So he wasn't several miles away? Then was there a different body several miles away?

Yes. Car on Douglas Fur and body on Fuller in Harken Heights.

Yes. Car on Douglas Fur and body on Fuller in Harken Heights.

How can his body be both in the vehicle and on Fuller in Harken Heights? Am I misreading?

So not a Schrödingers-type case after all. The vehicle was in HH and Pfc BR was in the vehicle. From the link:

The Harker Heights Police Department in Texas is investigating the suspected murder of a Fort Hood soldier. Pfc. Brandon Rosecrans, 27, was found when law enforcement was called to investigate a vehicle fire. Rosecrans was found inside the vehicle with a fatal gunshot wound to the head.

Fort Hood soldier found shot to death two minutes after car found engulfed in flames

"Around 10:28 a.m. on May 18, the Harker Heights Fire Department and the Harker Heights Police Department responded to a reported structure fire in the area of Douglas Fir Drive and Jubilation Drive.

When fire crews arrived, they found an orange 2016 Jeep Renegade and surrounding vegetation on fire."

"Around 10:20 a.m., [before the fire was reported--cb] Harker Heights Police Department received a call about a body found on Fuller Street. The body has been identified as 27-year-old Pfc. Brandon Scott Rosecrans of Fort Hood."

Fuller Street and Douglas Fir Drive are a couple of miles apart Fort Hood soldier found shot to death two minutes after car found engulfed in flames

I'm willing to believe the earlier report was wrong and he was found with his Jeep, but there's still the question of why two calls and two locations.

It's probably just a mistake and probably not related to Vanessa.

Praying for Vanessa’s well-being.
Does anyone think that Vanessa is alive on the Ft Hood base?

Perhaps this base needs a lot more cameras or something? I know it's gigantic but....

No, but I think it's possible (though not likely) that she's alive somewhere else.

Family of missing soldier push for answers

KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) A day before family and friends of a missing Fort Hood soldier are set to hold a peaceful protest, her loved ones pushed for answers in her disappearance.

During a press conference Thursday, the family of Pfc. Vanessa Guillen pushed for someone to come forward with information in her disappearance.

"We're asking the public to get involved. We hear the phrase, 'If you see something, say something.' Well this is the time," said Francisco Mendoza with Alianza Latina Internacional.

They, along with representatives from LULAC, joined Vanessa's sister, Mayra Guillen, and her mother.

Vanessa's mother pleaded for anyone with information to come forward and saying Vanessa was her youngest child and she feels a part of her is now missing.

"I want you guys to put yourself in my shoes and speak up before it's too late. Don't try and cover for anyone that won't do it for you," said Mayra
Guillen.

Late Thursday, Fort Hood released an update saying more than 500 soldiers from the 3rd Cavalry Division searched daily on foot in training areas, barracks and across the post.

Fort Hood also says they are actively conducting interviews and following up on credible leads. Still, after a month no clues to where Vanessa could be.

Anyone with information is asked to contact local authorities.
