A 24-year-old woman in Frio County has been arrested and charged with injury to a child.
The 18-month old child is in critical condition.
On Tuesday night we reported that the 18-month-old has broken ribs, missing toe nails and signs of sexual abuse. The infant went to Christus Santa Rosa Hospital.

Four other children were removed from the home by CPS and placed in foster care

The baby had 106 indications of trauma or abuse, including several fractured ribs, some of which had healed, “dozens of bruises and scratches” along with cut, bloodied, and in several cases, missing toenails, Martinez said.
Authorities said the woman's boyfriend was a “person of interest” in the case, as are three other adults who lived in the mobile home with the couple and children.
